The 2nd floor Riverview Suite sleeps two, but your booking can be expanded to two additional 2nd floor rooms (fee assessed) allowing for a total of 4 guests. The space Be our guests in this one-of-a-kind home built in the 1850’s and immaculately restored. The Villa Goshen has every modern amenity and provides exceptional panoramic views overlooking the water. The Villa is close to the pumpkinvine trail and all the action in downtown Goshen, Indiana, as well as a short drive to local tourism hot spots such as Notre Dame, Shipshewana, Middlebury, and Nappanee. When you book this listing at the published rate you will enjoy the upstairs private guest suite for TWO, overlooking the river. The space is an oasis for guests, boasting spectacular waterfront views from both the bedroom and the spacious bath. Guests will find themselves fully rejuvenated after spending the night in the suite which features a king bed, sitting area, work space, and flat screen smart tv for your entertainment needs. The private ensuite bath has a two-person air jet jacuzzi tub with personal fireplace, a stand up shower and a double vanity. A complimentary snack and beverage area is stocked upstairs in the hallways with snacks, single-serve coffee maker, and microwave; providing conveniences our guests would expect in a 5-star hotel at a fraction of the price. A shared backyard guest deck area with seating, propane fire pit, and grill is available. The back guest deck is a shared space among all booked guests. Guests always have exclusive use of their private room/bathroom. Also, on the main floor there is an eat-in kitchen, two guest living rooms, a dining room, porch and library/den open for any booked guest to enjoy. The laundry room is part of the housekeeping area for the entire Villa. Guests are free to use it, but it is primarily used by the hosts to process laundry for the home and is not kept “guest clean.” Regarding Shared Spaces:: As a courtesy, we ask that all significant kitchen cooking be completed by 9:00 pm if the house is being shared between multiple booking groups. The hosts and their small dogs live on site in a separate basement apartment. They have a private outdoor patio that is directly outside their door, which is adjacent to the guest outdoor deck area. In addition, the riverside stone outdoor fire pit area is prioritized for their use as hosts and not available to guests without advanced permission. The hosts are often not seen and do not interact with guests unless they are requested and/or needed. Guest access The main entrance is reserved for guest access. An electronic key pad is available for convenient self check-in. The Villa Goshen is located on Main Street in Goshen, close to Kercher Road. Most guests find taking the 17 highway to Kercher road the quickest and most convenient way to access the home from the 20 bypass or the 80/90. Once you arrive, guests will find they are less than 2 miles from the amenities of downtown Goshen and a often just a short drive to many local tourist hot spots like Notre Dame, Middlebury Essenhaus, Shipshewana, and Nappanee. During your stay Hosts are available at anytime to meet a need or share insights regarding area activities, however it is our desire that guests have the privacy they are seeking while at The Villa. As a result, unless the guests request interaction, hosts will leave them to enjoy their stay without interruption. We want our guests to feel right at home. All amenities set out at at snack stations are provided for your enjoyment. Additionally, your room is outfitted with a flat screen tv with DirecTV. The bathroom is stocked with essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, soap and hair dryers. Clean towels and bedding is also provided. All booked guests have exclusive use of their private guest room spaces and additional shared (with other booked guests) access to all main floor living rooms, kitchen, dining room, library/den, and porch. Other things to note The rate listed secures the upstairs guest suite overlooking the river, for a maximum of 2 guests. If both guests want separate bedrooms, an additional fee will apply. If you group is larger than two, you may expand your booking and utilize the additional guest bedroom spaces upstairs. The upstairs has the potential sleep a total of 5 maximum guests. If you do not want other guest groups to be booked simultaneously on the main floor, an additional charge will be assessed to give you exclusive access to all guest spaces at The Villa. Guests with pets will be charged an additional pet fee of $15 per night or $75 per week. The Villa and all spaces within, are available to booked guests only. Any requests for additional guests visiting The Villa need to be arranged IN ADVANCE with the host. Additional fees may apply for non-booked guests visiting The Villa.
