A unique home in W Sedona at the base of Thunder Mt. offers great hiking & biking trails & some of the most spectacular views in the area. A quiet neighborhood offering both solace & wonderful company. Dark skies offer great star gazing. Both bedrooms have a queen size bed. Enjoy the enormous & spectacular views of the red rocks while relaxing on the deck. Below this 2 bedroom home is a studio which is also a short term rental. It also has access to the patio. TPT# 21200426 Permit 007432 The space This is a 2 bedroom home with a separate Airbnb studio below. It is the house built by my dad when he moved here in 1986. It’s a wonderful and unique home with some of the most spectacular views in Sedona. Wrap around picture windows allow you to see these spectacular views from all angles. Thunder Mt., Chimney Rock, Coffee Pot, Sugarloaf, Mogollon Rim, Airport Mesa, and the back side of Courthouse are all clearly within your view. The house is directly across the road from the Coconino National Forest and Thunder Mountain offering numerous trails for both hiking and mountain biking. The trail head to access both is a half block from the house. This home is a private residence managed similar to the roots of Airbnb and its philosophy. You’ll find my style to be simple, comfortable, and inviting. These qualities are reflected in the modern farmhouse style space you’ll call home while staying in Sedona. Provided for you is a full kitchen with full size appliances. Everything you need for food prep and eating is provided. Coffee and tea are provided as are some basic condiments. Each bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed, dresser, and full closet. There are two bathrooms, each with a full tub and shower. A laundry room with a full size washer and dryer is also available. This is a home with a studio Airbnb apartment below. Although I have done what I can to deaden the travel of sound, I ask that you please be mindful, courteous, and respectful of your Airbnb neighbors. Please remove your shoes upon entering to reduce the travel of sound. The upper and lower units connect by way of a common door which is locked with a deadbolt. Your privacy and security are protected. Booking both "Amazing Views of Thunder Mt." and "Desert Studio Paradise - Thunder Mt. Skies" could be an option if you're looking for more space. Important Details: During the months of January, February, March, and early April the owner typically stays on the property in order to do any required maintenance. There is a lower shed on the property that is not included in the rental area. Please refrain from wandering down there or handling anything inside. Guest access As my guest you will have a private entrance and full use of the upstairs and wrap around deck. The grill is located on the patio below and is shared with guests in the lower level. Your space is separate from the downstairs providing you with complete privacy. There is a parking spot for one vehicle. If needed, another vehicle could be parked in the drive. Other things to note TPT# 21200426 This home is a private residence managed individually that is closely related to the original roots of the Airbnb philosophy. Please observe the neighborhood quiet time of 9:00. The house is wheelchair accessible but the bathroom doors are too narrow for a wheelchair to fit through. No Exceptions. $500 fine if violated. Pack N Play and Highchair available upon request. Mail is not accepted at this address. No Mountain Bikes or muddy shoes are allowed inside the house. Local Quiet Hours are 9 p.m. - 9 a.m. The neighbors may call the police if this is violated. Due to our dark sky ordinance, outdoor lights must be turned off when you are not outside using them. NO FIRES May 1 - October 1, Or any other time the host requests, due to drought or fire ban. We are not liable for items left behind. $50 + the cost of shipping will be charged for items left behind that require shipping. By law this home may NOT be used for events, parties or large gatherings. We regularly see javelina, deer, skunks and bobcats. Do not approach or feed these animals! Please do not unplug electronics or move furniture. Please use your own accounts for Netflix, Prime, etc... Please be sure to log out of those accounts when you check out.
