Ferndale Creekside Cottage in downtown Ferndale

Creekside Cottage is a newly renovated, light and airy one bedroom cozy house in the heart of downtown historic Ferndale. Inside you'll find the original rustic redwood plank flooring and ceiling beams, with a brand new modern farmhouse kitchen and sparkling new bathroom. It's a great location for two people and has a small back deck overlooking Francis Creek. You'll never want to leave! The space We recently completed renovating the separate carriage house / workshop / garage space of a late 1800's home in Ferndale, California to make this beautiful new cottage. We restored the original wide plank redwood flooring throughout and added a brand new kitchen and bathroom. It is located in the center of historic Ferndale. The one bedroom cottage has Wi-Fi and a large Roku-enabled television. There is a queen bed and a wardrobe, separated visually from the kitchen/living space by the sliding barn doors from the original workshop. The bathroom has a shower and tub combination with on-demand hot water, tile floor, and a marble vanity. Though there are many updated amenities, you'll find there is still some rustic charm. Enjoy your morning coffee at the kitchen island seating area or out on the back deck overlooking Francis Creek. The fully-equipped kitchen has dishes, pots and pans, toaster, oven, and microwave. There's a grocery store one block away for groceries, or head out to the local cafes down the street for a hearty Ferndale breakfast or pastries and coffee. This cottage is ideal for just two people. There is parking in the driveway right in front of the Creekside Cottage. The cottage is behind another home, but has its own driveway entrance and access. Guest access The entire cottage and the back deck off of the cottage overlooking the creek are for guests' use. The cottage is down a driveway behind the main house, on Airbnb as "Francis Creek Retreat in the Heart of Ferndale". Other things to note This is absolutely NO SMOKING of anything and no VAPING property. If you smoke, this is not the place for you, as the smoke odor lingers on clothing and then is tracked into the house. Thanks for respecting our request.
