The space The Grand Domaine cottage, nestled in a property of 40 hectares of forests and meadows, offers you absolute relaxation in the heart of the preserved nature of the Purple Perigord. Formerly the stables of the estate's castle, completely renovated, over 150 m², it is very comfortable and offers 4 bedrooms (separable double beds, i.e. 8 people + baby), 4 bathrooms, large living room dining room with TV, equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer, ironing board and other small equipment), bed and baby seat, free Wi-Fi. A large landscaped and intimate terrace, welcomes your barbecues with family or friends. The bed nestled in the vegetation of the natural pool, fed with spring water, will be your escape nest. The estate also offers outdoor games for children (swing, badminton, ball, petanque...), in complete safety, and board games. The most athletic can jog through the forest paths of the estate, some of which date back to Roman times, ride horses, participate in a yoga session and other activities offered on the site and surroundings. The Domaine de Fonroques-Neyrat is located on the heights of Montcaret, 2 hours from Paris, 20 minutes from Saint-Emilion, 45 minutes from Libourne or Bergerac, 1 hour from Bordeaux. The center of Montcaret, a 15-minute walk away, offers a bakery, a butcher-caterer, a vegetable producer, a tobacco-grocery store, a hairdresser, and a rotisserie on Sundays. On the estate, events are offered with supplements in season (wine tasting, botanical walk, storytelling evening, massage, horseback riding, equitherapy, yoga, wellness seminar...). Nearby, you can go down the Dordogne by canoe, fish on the river, do tree climbing or swim in Lake Gurson. The region, of exceptional cultural richness, offers many sites to visit such as the Gallo-Roman site of Montcaret, the Tower of Montaigne, the gardens of Sardy, the beautiful village of Saint-Emilion, the famous battle of Castillon, the production of saffron from Jade, the Van der Horst cheese factory or the leather goods maker of Montcaret. The natural pool, common, is open to guests with free access, for all guests of the estate. The tropical greenhouse pool is privately accessible, by reservation and at no additional cost. First access is offered, subject to reservation. The 40-hectare estate is accessible for all walks through its forest paths.
