(pool heating is not available for 2025 season) The space Yes, because Villa Domenico Morani is the first smart home of the renowned Central Corfu, where home automation (including Alexa, PlayStation 5, etc) blends with wood and precious stone, in a ambience that seems coming out from a fairytale. Dive by the private pool, enjoy the sunset views, dine under the stars in total privacy, chill out in the inviting interiors, or walk around the alleys of the village: these are the ingredients of a real holiday experience. Inside, the villa is set over 2 floors, is fully air conditioned and has been finished to the highest standard, with luxury touches and exquisite amenities. Nothing has been left to the case in Villa Domenico Morani: from lighting to fabrics, from pillows to starlink wifi, from household appliances to insulation. On the ground floor there is a spacious lounge (large smart TV, PlayStation5, Alexa Smart System) with patio doors leading out straight to the pool area, with adjoining fully equipped kitchen and dining room with wine cellar and glass roof. The 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, a true heaven of relaxation with top quality linen and mattresses, feature two large double beds each and have en-suite shower rooms. Also a WC for guests is located on this floor. Stairs lead up to the delightfully pretty master bedroom suite, romantic and , with its large double bed and panoramic views over the pool, the village and the sunset. A laundry room, with washing machine and dryer, is also available. Home automation is a unique feature of Villa Domenico Morani, and includes smart computers in each bedroom, intercom between rooms, Alexa, Starlink high speed connection covering all the areas inside and outside.The ground floor as well as the outdoor areas are also accessible to guests with reduced mobility (including a dedicated bathroom). Traditional Greek Food (homemade) dinners can be arranged on request. The heavenly atmosphere of the indoor areas of Villa Domenico Morani reflects also on the outdoor: time will seem to have stopped, and it will only be measured by the gentle sound of the cicadas and by the gentle breeze passing through the leaves. With wide paved terraces surrounded by unspoilt nature, a large private pool (measuring 7.5m x 3.5m, depth 1.5m) there is plenty of space for all the guests to enjoy long hours under the shining Greek sun: 10 sunbeds / beanbag chairs as well as parasols are provided. A new, exciting, 4 seats hot tub / jacuzzi is also available for the guests to enjoy. And at dusk, when the villa lights up and the sun goes down over Pelekas in the distance, the magic will start! No words can describe the sense of freedom and refined class that Villa Domenico Morani can convey to the guests: it definitely needs to be lived, for the holiday of a lifetime! For extra pleasure, a barbecue area is available for the guests, with chillout sofas and dining table for 10. Private parking (gated) is also available within the premises. LOCATION: Please note that due to the villa's location within the tiny village of Gastouri (which offers a small bakery and a couple of tavernas) a car is required for this property. NOTES: for the convenience of our guests, the price quoted includes: Air-conditioning, wi-fi internet, cleanings, change of lined/hand/bath towels twice a week. Other things to note On the 15th of December 2023, the Greek Government introduced a new tax on holiday rentals with the aim to fight the climate emergency. The new “climate resilience tax” bacame effective in 2024 and will be consequently increased from 1st of January 2025 to the foreseen amount of 2 euros per property per night for studios and apartments and 15 euros per property per night for villas and large holiday homes (details are still under review, and official figure for each specific property will be added to the pre arrival info for all our guests). Therefore, for example, a stay of 7 nights in a villa during 2025 summer (non depending on the number of guests staying) will have a total climate resilience tax of euros 105. For all the existing and future reservations, the amount will be payable locally on arrival. Despite being this a sudden decision, which caused a considerable surprise in ourselves, we are therefore obliged to comply with the new regulation informing all our present and future guests of this extra charge.
