In typical local fashion, a lot of wood was used in the interior, which spreads warmth, well-being and cosiness. An open kitchen is used to prepare mostly freshly caught fish and also offers a fantastic view over the fjord. The adjoining dining table offers enough space for 6 people to dine. The living room also invites you to relax and spend cosy hours here. The cottage has two bathrooms, each with toilet, sink and shower. In the house you will find four bedrooms and thus enough opportunities to spend your holiday together. Some photos inside are of the identical neighboring house. The photos differ in detail. Experience Norway up close at this spot directly on the fjord - fish from the jetty or the rentable motorboat - the owner will be happy to give you good fishing tips. Enjoy nature, relax and recharge your batteries for many days of the year. The holiday home is centrally located and is a good starting point for fishing on the fjord, hiking in the mountains and sightseeing many of the impressive sights of the Sogn-og Fjordane region. The mighty and extremely deep Sognefjord is known far beyond its borders for its numerous destinations and is sure to offer you unforgettable impressions and moments. Always worth a visit is the Jotunheimen National Park, where extensive hikes and beautiful insights into nature are possible. If you wish, you can get information about good fishing spots. We were at the houses in 2017 and a lot of big fish were caught by the guests. In the fjord near this holiday home, the following fish can be caught. Pollock, pollack, mackerel, lumb and ling, to name a few. In Ortnevik about 10 km from the cottage there is a salmon-carrying river. New fishing regulation for tourism in Norway: This cabin, FH-23 including the cottages in the neighborhood, FH-16 and FH-17 are registered as a tourism fishing company, so guests are allowed to export 18 KG of fish per person from Norway. Fishing in the fjord is basically free of charge. Motorboat You can rent one or more motorboats on a daily or weekly basis. Reserve your motorboat when ordering the holiday home or rent it on site. The rental of the motorboat is not included in the rental price of the holiday home. If you want to rent one of the motorboats, you will receive a briefing on the motorboat upon arrival.
