This is a rare private home right in the middle of Astoria. We have lived here for over 30 years & absolutely love our community. It's new up & coming yet with a perfect neighborhood feel. We will be away for 2 months and happy to open up our home to other curious travelers We are 12 min walk to the subway/4 stops to midtown Manhattan/7 stops to Times Square. Tons of restaurants and shops just few blocks away. Laundry mat half a block away We are a phone call/text away for any recommendations The space This a two bedroom house. Front room has a Queen size sofa bed, TV and seating area. Separate bedroom with a queen size bed. Very large living room is combined with the open kitchen / dining room area. Kitchen has all the equipment you may need (dishes, spices, pots, pans, etc). Small pantry area (stacked with basic breakfast foods) that leads to a bathroom. Bathroom has 2 sinks and full bathtub / shower. We are always available to recommend local restaurants and places to visit. AC, WiFi, Netflix and input option of European channels are included. Guest access It a full house. There is a basement level apt used by others but you will have full use of the house with separate entrance. Front yard. Other things to note There is absolutely no smoking. My husband had breathing problems and has to use an oxygen tank. We will be away but we don't allow any smoking on the premises. You are welcome to smoke outside on the front stoop.
