Chateau de Sainte-Sévère Bernard de Mauprat Room

Sleeping at the Château de Sainte-Sévère means taking part in the beginning of the castle's restoration adventure. It is also sleeping in the footsteps of Edmée de Mauprat, heroine of George Sand's novel in this large double room with private bathroom. The castle is located in the heart of our village with all amenities. The space The room is located on the first floor in the est wing of the Château. It features a double bed and a private bathroom a splendid view of the park and the surrounding countryside. Its private balcony will give you a breathtaking view of the medieval stately tower. Guest access You can park your car within the estate and will have access to the entire park and esplanade, with the option to use the fire pit and barbecue. During your stay We are (almost) always present at the château. For any information on activities in the area, we will guide you towards the many cultural, natural, and sporting discoveries to be made in this beautiful corner of Berry. Other things to note The castle offers two breakfast options with hot drinks, fruit juice, yogurt accompanied by bread and butter with a sweet or savory variation of pastries and jams or local cold meats and cheeses. Each formula is priced at €10/person.
