Rose Cottage, Darsham - Suffolk Coastal

Welcome to our cosy pink cottage, located in the idyllic village of Darsham, near the Suffolk coast. Perfect for families, couples, and friends. Conveniently located just off the A12 between Southwold & Aldeburgh, within a short drive to the beaches of Dunwich & Walberswick, and RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve. Enjoy the large, fenced-in back garden in summer, perfect for dog owners, and wood burning fireplace in winter. Directly next door to our fantastic village pub, The Fox Inn Darsham The space Ground floor - entrance porch, kitchen & dining area, living room. Upper floor - 3 x bedrooms (2 kings and a single) and shared family bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking facilities you could need including fridge with freezer compartment, hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, and plates / cutlery / crockery etc. There is also a washing machine and clothes horse. The living room has 2 x sofas and an arm chair, a flat screen TV with internet streaming apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer etc), family board games, wood burner with logs and kindling for your first fire included, and a bookshelf. The bedrooms have hotel quality linen with Soak & Sleep pillows and duvets. Each room is also equipped with a fan. The family bathroom has a shower over bathtub. The cottage also benefits from a large, private, fenced-in back garden which gets great sun in the Summer. There is a picnic bench for al fresco dining in the warmer months. Please note that in keeping with the cottage charm, there is a fairly steep staircase. We have installed a child safety gate on the upper floor, but please be aware that the cottage may not be suitable for those with limited mobility or very small children. There is no downstairs loo. Guest access You will have full access to the cottage and garden. The shed in the garden is locked and for owner’s private use. Other things to note The cottage comes with one dedicated, off-road parking space. If you are bringing multiple vehicles, there is free roadside parking available within a short walk of the property. The cottage includes all the amenities you should need for a short stay including hotel-grade bed linen & bath towels, tea & coffee making facilities, cooking facilities, washing machine tablets, toilet paper, and things like dish soap, sponges etc. There is UHT milk available in the cupboard free of charge. If you need a top up of any of these items during your stay, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Beach towels are available free of charge on request. We welcome well behaved dogs free of charge on the ground floor of the cottage. Please kindly refrain from allowing your dogs on the furniture. We can provide dog beds on request, please let us know at time of booking.
