Opened on Queen Victoria's coronation day in June 1838, the Royal Bath Hotel Bournemouth was the first hotel in Bournemouth. The hotel features Oscars Brasserie – buffet style, Café Promenade and Oscars for private dining, a Leisure club and lovely sea views. Just moments from the seafront, this classically styled hotel has well-equipped rooms, each including a satellite TV. Some rooms also offer views of the secluded grounds and across the bay. Royal Bath's restaurant uses seasonal, local produce whenever possible. Drinks, sandwiches and afternoon cream teas are served in the relaxed Lounge. For their dining experience, guests can choose from the views at the Oscar’s Brasserie, light meals at the Cafe Promenade (Seasonal) or private dining at Oscar’s, named after regular hotel guest Oscar Wilde. The Leisure club allows guests to relax in an indoor pool, hot tub or sauna. There is also a gym. Access to the facilities is subject to a surcharge. This double room features a seating area, electric kettle and flat-screen TV. Consisting of a double bed, this small room offers a satellite TV, an private bathroom, and complimentary toiletries. Please note that some of these rooms have either a skylight window or no window.
