A private cozy room with 2 comfortable beds in a high rise plus apartment. It is a shared accommodation with me and my son (15 years). The building is just right across the street from a mall and subway station. Easy access to Downtown Toronto within half an hour. Ideal for short term stays. !!!!!ATTENTION!!!! Read carefully DETAILED LISTING DESCRIPTIONS bellow before you book! Specially all SOUND SENSITIVE people needs to prioritize their sensitivity as it may not be an ideal place for them! The space Located on the 17th Floor, shared apartment with me and my son (14 years old), Private bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 cozy beds and an incredible view of Toronto :). Plenty of sunshine in the room to make you feel warm and cozy during the long Canadian winters. The space is neat and done tastefully. There is a TV in the living room and wireless internet in the apartment. The space is ideal and economical for short term stays. Fairview mall is right across the apartment and can be reached in 2-5 mins. Starting from shops, restaurants, groceries and food court, the mall has it all for your convenience. The Don Mill Subway station is a 4 min walk from home. Downtown Toronto is an easy 30 min subway ride. *****PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT GO TO THE BUILDING MANAGEMENT OFFICE FOR ANY SORT OF HELP WITH CHECK IN/CHECK OUT OR FOR ANY OTHER REASONS DURING YOUR STAY! If you are SENSITIVE TO SOUND, SLANGS (my son uses them while playing video games only with his game partners) And HEAT this is not the place you should choose for your stay! If you are into GOSSIPING, JUDGING OTHERS, INTERFARING OR EXTRA CURIOUS ABOUT YOUR HOSTS VERY PERSONAL MATTERS please reconsider. *****PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT GO TO THE BUILDING MANAGEMENT OFFICE FOR ANY SORT OF HELP WITH CHECK IN/CHECK OUT OR DURING YOUR STAY! THEY AREN’T RESPONSIBLE BY ANY MEANS FOR MY HOSTING SITUATION!***** ******************************************** Before I start please understand the situation of the accommodation! This is my primary residence where me and my son are spending our day to day life. We are sharing our home with others but can't stop living our everyday lives. Being a host I can take the responsibility of the issue that you may face accidentally but try to talk to me first if any such issues occurs! We all are different and we all have different requirements and preferences. Being a host I only can update what you may expect during your stay here with us but you should know your requirements better. Few of my past guests didn't read the descriptions as well as didn't prioritize their own needs and left unacceptable reviews after rather than brought the issue to me first! Bellow are the details from my end to let you understand the accommodation. So, Please read it carefully before you finalize your booking! 1. Please note that the visitors parking is an outdoor parking place in the building premises. The visitors parking has became paid parking recently! So, if you have a car, be prepared for the paid parking option. All details with QR CODE are available on the notice board at the visitors parking area. Please remember that we have limited and paid visitors parking available. No other parking options are available! 2. As this location is an apartment building. Sometimes due to some maintenance purposes management shuts down water supply with a prior notice for a certain day between the hours 9am - 5pm. As soon as I have the notice I'll inform you. Also there are monthly fire inspections going on each month with a prior notice posted in front of the elevators. Also you need to consider emergencies related to water supply and electricity! Please keep these matters in your mind before booking. 3. Please note that this is not a bread and breakfast location. You may see food items are available but it’s not included in this booking. Please buy your own food items to consume 4. Although this building is a quiet place. But walls are not soundproof. So, sometimes you might hear some kind of light sounds like elevators running sound, water flushing sounds from other apartments, if my neighbors chatting in their balcony, someone talking at corridors, my son may be watching TV sometimes (but I'll try taking care of TV volume) and there is a regular light sound in the washroom ( it might be from water pipelines or elevators, I am not quite sure! ). If you are SOUND SENSITIVE please keep all these details in your mind prior finalizing your booking. 5. This building has centralized heating services. I don't have any controller in my suite. Temperature is controlled as moderate. No air conditioner available in the building or in my suite. Only my personal table fans are available for short summer period (Note: it’s a top floor of the building and can be very hot during those days when temperature is pretty high). If you are HEAT SENSITIVE please keep these details in mind prior finalizing your booking. 6. Please note that I have a 14 years old son. He is a talkative and a socially active boy. He likes to talk with people but at home he is mostly busy with playing video games. So, he may not be paying attention to you or greet you whenever he sees you! Please don’t take it wrong as being a teenager he is just trying to be in his own circle mostly. Please be prepared for the situation and all sounds/noises that he could make.His voice can be a little louder out of excitement as well as he uses some slangs sometimes while playing games with his friends. Though I will be trying my best to handle the situation whenever I am available at home. But if you are sound sensitive and word sensitive please keep all these details in your mind prior finalizing your booking. 7. Please keep in mind I don't have an automatic lock for the main door of my apartment. So, during your stay each time when you go out or come in, you have to lock and unlock the main door of my apartment manually. Building’s main entrance door is automatic. I'll provide you details for that when you arrive. 8. Please keep in mind this apartment is my primary residence and I am also living here with my son. I need some breaks sometimes. Usually it’s not that noisy but I may watch TV or movies on some Saturdays or holidays during late night with my invited friends in my living room or bedroom and I might have to make late night calls to back home to my family and friends (I will make those calls in my bedroom obviously behind the closed doors). But it could be a little bit noisier comparing other nights during late hours. Also I need to make video calls most Saturday mornings in my living room. If you have any problem with this situation please do not book my place. 9. Please remember that I won’t be using kitchen much during weekdays! Though I have to use kitchen certainly in the morning before I go to work and in the evening when I come back home after my work. I mostly cook on weekends and I might spend a good amount of time in the kitchen during the day time for weekends. If you need to cook during that time please let me know! I can stop for a while to let you finish. 10. If you are planning to cook 2-3 times a day, please do not book this place! I prefer my guest should be considerable with kitchen and washroom use by considering my presence at home. During 5 days a week I am mostly out of the home for about 10-11 hours when my guests can use everything at home with their own convenience. But I expect when I come back home after whole day work, I at least get some time to use kitchen and washroom. My recent experiences with kitchen/washroom use timing were horrible. 11. Please note that no cooking will be allowed on any day between 11 pm - 5 am. Also due to my work schedule and my child's school schedule I need to use the washroom and kitchen between 7-9 am from Monday to Friday. Please be considerate and try not to spend longer time in the washroom and kitchen in between those hours during weekdays! Thanks for paying attention! Registration Details STR-2009-HZQKPM
