Available for corporate stays. The space Spacious 3,200 sqft, yet cozy, this home has 3 guest rooms, each with Nova Foam bedding. The Americana room, with a queen size bed, extends a slice of homemade apple pie feel for each guest. The Dia de la Muerte room, also with a queen size bed, presents a Latin flair for its guests. The Asian room, with a double bed, provides each guest a peaceful atmosphere. This retreat is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by 1.2 acres of mature trees, succulent gardens, and patios. Guests have full use of the home, including a newly updated kitchen, great room, living room, and barbecue area. A secluded patio offers a wonderful spot to sip a morning cup of coffee and enjoy the surrounding nature. Each bedroom has its own flat screen television with full cable and guests are welcome to choose from hundreds of movies on disc. Home has central AC and heat. Guests are supplied with a continental breakfast of fruit, muffins, yogurt, and juice. Home owner has a very friendly Irish terrier and a yellow-headed Amazon parrot (yes, he is a bit talkative). With over 20 breweries in the area, Vista is becoming the Capital of Craft Beer. Many nearby gastropubs and restaurants offer fresh fare from local farmer's markets. 30 minutes from the Del Mar Race Track, 45 minutes from downtown San Diego and San Diego Convention Center, the San Diego Zoo, Seaport Village, SeaWorld, and Old Town. Disneyland, California Adventure, and Knott's Berry Farm are an hour's drive and Big Bear Lake, which boasts skiing in the winter and various warm weather activities in the summer, is 2 1/2 hours away. Several golf courses and casinos are also nearby. Home owner offers sketching and painting classes upon request. Guest access All except outdoor art studio, garage and my bedroom. Other things to note Recommend children over the age of 10 but younger kids welcome if parents can control them. Home owner has many delicate works of art that may be worrisome for parents with small children. Couples and families are welcomed.
