Tarapoto is a small city and it is possible to move around on foot if you like, so it is also possible to transport yourself by motorcycle taxi (usually for 1 to 2 dollars within the city) and rental motorcycles per day. If your departures are interprovincial there is car, bus and minivan service for the transfer.
