Beautiful cottage located between Palomino river and the Caribbean sea, 20 minute walking distance from the beach and 10 minutes from the river. It's a family house and perfect for couples and group of friends too. The house is spacious, fresh and well ventilated, it is built with natural materials and inspired by the indigenous Kogui and colonial architecture. The house was designed by two permaculturists, that's why In the lush garden you can find aromatic and medical plants of the region. The space The property consists of two buildings that are rented separately, each of these spaces are completely independent but share the garden entrance. The main structure is located in the middle of a spacious permacultural garden. The cottage accomodation cappacity is 10 persons with the possibility to eventually extend to 12. The house has three rooms “Caribe" with capacity for three-person, with a double bed and a single one, a four-person room "Caribe" with two single beds and a double one and a three-person mazzanine "Kogui" with a double bed a and a single one. All beds have their own mosquito net. In addition, there is a dinning room that ends in a terrace, a fully equipped kitchen with a bar integrated with the living room and a bathroom with separated WC, shower and sink. We invite our guests to make a rational use of the water in order to help us take care of this scarce resource. The house receives water from the public grid only once a week and the region suffers from heavy droughts. The cleaning fee is for the first time, if you want to get an additional cleaning service, it would has an equivalent additional cost. Guest access Guests will be attended by neighbour ladies from the community which are open to show their traditions, gastronomy and hospitality with the visitors. It´s a good opportunity for tourists to get in contact with local people. The ladies offer breakfast and other meals if the client wants. You can find laundry service on a close distance. Other things to note The price of the rent depends on the number of guests who will use the house. The announced rental price for the house is based on a minimum of two guests.
