Cleanliness and your comfort are our top priorities! Newly renovated 2- story century home converted into a cozy vacation home. Only a walking distance away from the wonderful sandy beaches of Cape Tormentine! Please note that our staff washroom is located at the Coastal Country House. We have our independent access to this room and we will not disturb your privacy at the Coastal Country House. We never will enter your rental space except you want us to or in emergency situations. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms equipped with comfortable double beds. 3 of these bedrooms have ocean view. Bedroom #1: 2 double size beds - sleeps up to 4 guests Bedroom #2: 2 double size beds - sleeps up to 4 guests Bedroom #3: 1 double size bed - sleeps up to 2 guests Bedroom #4: 1 double size bed - sleeps up to 2 guests 2 full bathrooms available. Bathroom on the 2nd floor: bath tub/shower, toilet, sink , hair dryer, body wash hand soap Bathroom on the ground floor: large shower, toilet, sink, body wash, hand soap, hair dryer On the ground Floor: fully equipped large kitchen with a kitchen dining table with 4 chairs, Dining room with oak furniture and Dining table for up to 8 guests (6 dining chairs plus 2 stools), the living room and 1 full bathroom. All rooms in the house (except the bathrooms) are equipped with hardwood floors and ceiling fans to keep you comfortable on hotter summer days. No ceiling fan in the dining room! For cooler evenings there is a nice little pellet stove in the living room.- we provide you with pellets. Additional the house is equipped with an oil furnace. The Coastal Country House is fully equipped with all amenities: FREE INTERNET (wifi), 1 satellite TV in the living room, washer and dryer, dishwasher, 1 large fridge, 1 small chest freezer, microwave oven, toaster, electric water kettle, standard coffee maker with permanent filter, crock pot, pots, pans, glasses, cutlery, etc. We provide free Internet. Please consider that we are located in a rural area and that our internet will not be as fast as in cities. Our provider is Bell Aliant and we are providing the best possible internet in our rural area. 1 satellite-TV, towels, linens -pillows, duvets, quilts, top sheets, fitted sheets, extra fleece blankets- (bedding will not be changed during the course of your stay unless you need something replaced), toilet paper, basic paper towels (1 roll), dish soap, hand soap, body wash , BBQ (propane provided), .... The Coastal Country House is a self-catering and self- house keeping cottage. Your comfort is our top priority! Please never hesitate to contact us any time if you had questions or needed anything during your stay. Let us know until 11:00 AM if you needed anything replaced or stocked up on the same day. Letting us know later than 11:00 AM, we might be able to do so only the next day. We always will do everything to help as soon as possible! Hot water, heating and electricity are included. At Cape Jourimain shuttlebus to PEI available. You are close to the Confederation Bridge. (7 min drive) The Coastal Country House is an ideal location for day trips to explore PEI, Shediac, the Hopewell Rocks, the Moncton region and Nova Scotia. You are in Walking distance to the Cape Tormentine Beach Campground and sandy beach, a little convenient Store for basic groceries, coffee and ice cream. Buy fresh lobsters right off the boat at Cape Tormentine Wharf or enjoy fishing at Cape Tormentine Wharf (lobster season approx. Aug 10 - Oct 10) What can you do on the property: relax on the sunny deck and/or enjoy the fire pit- please check daily after 2:00 pm the NB fire restrictions. We will let you know the website. (you can buy fire wood at the Cape Tormentine Beach Campground just a few minutes away) BBQ- we provide you with propane washer toss game available Board games Swing and slide set for kids available on the property (please never leave kids unattended) Please note that parents are responsible for their kids! Waterfront: no, but you have ocean view from most of the rooms and you are only a few walking minutes away from the wonderful sandy beaches of Cape Tormentine. Nobody of the crew will ever be in the guest part of the Coastal Country House except you needed us or in emergency situations. There is free parking on the property. The sun-deck attached to the house is only for you. You will have your own BBQ. We provide you with propane. You have your own fire pit. Fire wood can be bought at the Cape Tormentine Beach Campground just a few minutes away. The swing and slide set is shared with our guest kids at the Coastal Cabins. Other things to note We are pet friendly and you can bring up to 3 pets. Our pet fee is $30.00 per pet and stay. Pets are not allowed in the beds and never leave your pet alone or unattended. We are providing bedding and towels but please bring your own Beach Towels.
