Carrillo Beach is 35 km away, and Punta Islita, Camaronal Wildlife Refuge, Corozalito Beach, and Samara are less than 50 km away. Hojancha has the highest waterfall in Central America at 350 meters high, Salto del Calvo waterfall is located 14 km from the cabin. The area is ideal for hiking and running.
