This lovely, two-bedroom cottage style- apartment is directly on the water . Wake up in the morning to a spectacular ocean view, right in the centre of town. Baycation.ca The space These attached cottages are tucked away in a cul-de-sac under the soaring architecture of the Placentia Lift Bridge, one of the oldest in North America, but don’t worry - it’s had a recent restoration. The cottages are modern, functional and cozy, where you can enjoy a shared fire-pit and fall asleep with a view of the sea. We have a smart TV and a full sized kitchen stocked with staples like coffee and tea! The bridge is used regularly by those who wish to go across town, you'll likely find yourself crossing it more than once! This iconic structure will occasionally make noise or hold up “traffic” but we like to think it’s an experience. Both contain two bedrooms, each with a queen sized iron bed and a great view of the harbour, the heart of the ancient French Capital. Guest access This is one of two two bedroom guest cottages. Guests will have access to the entire cottage Parking for one vehicle is provided in front of the cottage, with additional parking a few steps away. You are right in the heart of Plaisance, the ancient French Capital of Newfoundland. The top three places to eat in the Placentia area are all within a short walk away from these cottages. The cottages are very close to the water and the lift bridge. While locals never notice the sounds, sometimes guests note that the boats and the bridge are louder than they expected.
