Surrounded by lush forest, the cabin comfortably accommodates 6-8 adults/children, featuring three bedrooms (each with a queen bed), two additional lofts with full-sized beds, and two bathrooms—ideal for families or groups seeking both comfort and space. A dishwasher and laundry facilities provide all the comforts of home, so you can relax and focus on your mountain escape. •••• During winter, the cabin becomes a haven for snow lovers, with easy access to skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, and snowshoeing trails nearby at Kachess snow park. THE PROPERTY INDOOR LIVING: NO TV’s (Bring your own devices for media), wood-burning fireplace, dining table, ceiling fan, additional fans provided. Dining table has leafs and folding chairs for extra seating are in closet. OUTDOOR LIVING: Front deck with propane grill, rear deck with swing, rear 2nd level balcony. FAQ: Pet fee (paid pre-trip), no A/C, in-facing cameras disabled, firewood available in outside shed. ACCESSIBILITY: 3-story cabin, Requires climbing stairs during winter, 2x 1st-floor bedrooms & bathrooms. PARKING: Driveway (Max 4 vehicles during winter) ADDITIONAL BEDDING INFO • Full/Double beds are in open lofts, not private rooms. Sheets, pillows, and comforters are provided. • Twin daybed is located in a nook outside 2nd floor bedroom. Sheets, pillow, and blanket provided. YOUNG CHILDREN: We welcome families! Our Cabin is not equipped with child safety features. For safety, children under 7 should be closely watched and understand basic safety when in the mountains. Steep Stairs, High Balconies, Fires, Wildlife, Ice and Snow. WINTER The driveway to the cabin is steep and cannot be plowed once the snow falls. During winter months, you will park at a lower detached garage which requires that you install on app on your phone to control. We will contact you with instructions. You will need to climb a flight of stairs in the garage and open a door to a covered walkway that leads to the cabin. The walkway also has some stairs and ends approximately 20 feet from the cabin front deck. We try to keep the snow cleared, but you may need to do some shoveling on the pathway. Chains may be required on the pass and are highly recommended to have on hand. Les Schwab sells chains and will refund your money if you don't use them. Ski Resorts: Summit East/Central/West - The Summit at Snoqualmie (15 miles), Alpental (15 miles) Look up Kachess Lake snow park to find snowmobile, sledding, and snowshoeing/cross country skiing areas nearby. POLICIES • Property is on a septic system. Failure to follow rules for septic system will result in loss of deposit and repair at your expense. • No outdoor fires during burn ban. Usually late June through September. Contact us about firewood availability. • No smoking. • Pet friendly with a $100 fee.. Contact us if you have more than 2 pets for approval. • No events, parties, or large gatherings. Guest access You will have access to the entire property except the following: • Owners closet in hallway • Owners closet in master bedroom • Owners closet on 2nd floor • Outbuildings/sheds **Detached garage is only accessible during winter months. Other things to note • This property has an Artesian Well as its water source. The water sometimes has a sulfur (hydrogen sulfide) smell that is natural (similar to a hot springs). The water is tested and safe to drink/bath in. We provide guests with 2 gallons of bottled water to use for ice, coffee, cooking, etc. We recommend bringing extra water for larger groups or longer stays. • The master bathroom has a tub only (no shower). The shower is capped due to a poor design that was causing water damage. We hope to remodel it soon. The main bathroom has a shower. • Provided firewood is for indoor fires (heating) only. If you plan to have outdoor fires during spring/fall months, you must bring your own wood. Burn bans are usually between July 1st through September.
