Heidarbaer - Log House.

Family Log House in the rural North Iceland. Located in Skagafjordur in North of Iceland. Complete privacy with only farms in the vicinity. Wake up in silence with occasional bird songs . The cabin is a newly, well heated with WIFI connection. The kitchenette has a fridge, dish-washing machine, coffee machine, small stove and an Air fryer. A barbeque grill is outside. The bunker bed can sleep 3 children (2 young ones below and a bigger one or an adult above). Bed linen and towels on site The space The house comes with bed linen and towels. All duvets and pillows are from natural materials, no synthetic. The heating is controlled by adjusting each radiator in the rooms. The hot water is Geothermal from a boar hole so that it might "smell" a bit, which is very natural since it is straight from the ground. Iceland is a "lava" country where rain water drains down through the lava and gets heated on the way. We then drill holes into the ground to use for our heating. Guest access There is a key box close to the door. I will text you the code nearer to arrival. During spring/summer time and if there are sheep on the grounds surrounding the house, please make sure to close the 2 gates leading to the house. The farmer brings the sheep to the mountains usually in June so after that there is no need to worry about the gates. Registration Details HG-00019963
