Spacious modern 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with magnificent panoramic sea views, located in the pleasant and family-friendly community of Coto Real-Duquesa, close to beautiful blue flag beaches, the vibrant Duquesa Port, several golf courses, local restaurants, bars and supermarkets. This elevated ground floor apartment offers direct access to the lovely communal pools and gardens via a staircase leading from the large terrace. The space The newly furnished and decorated apartment offers 83 sqm of space for up to 5 guests (maximum 4 adults) and a homely environment with everything you will need to enjoy a comfortable stay. The spacious lounge/diner leads onto the terrace and includes a 55" Samsung Smart TV, comfortable dining for 6 people, a chaise sofa with pull out double sofabed (140 x 200cm), hot and cold air conditioning. There are two good sized bedrooms, both with ample wardrobe space, dressing tables, full length mirrors, electric blackout shutter blinds and hot and cold air conditioning. The master en-suite bedroom leads directly onto the terrace and has a European king size bed (160 x 200cm). The guest bedroom has twin single beds (90 x 190cm) Both bathrooms include plenty of cabinet, countertop and hanging space for towels, demister mirrors with LED overlights, and powerful showers over screened bathtubs. The en-suite bathroom also benefits from a bidet. The well equipped kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare your favourite meals including a good size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and Nespresso coffee maker. Next to the kitchen, there is a ventilated utility room with washing machine, drying area and cleaning equipment. The apartment also benefits from free unlimited Wi-Fi, a security alarm and key entry gates to the building's main entrance and to the terrace staircase, a private underground parking space, as well as plenty of free on-street parking availability. TERRACE The 35 sqm terrace has covered and uncovered areas for both sun and shade, offering fantastic open views to the sea, countryside, pools, gardens and golf course. The covered area has a comfortable dining/lounging suite with plenty of seating, so all guests can enjoy meals and drinks in the cooling shade. The uncovered area has a relaxing egg chair, and comfortable sun loungers and side tables for relaxing in the sun. The pools are accessed via a private staircase leading directly from the terrace. POOLS A few steps away from the terrace you can enjoy a dip in a choice of two beautiful pools and sunbathe in the peaceful surrounding gardens, which also offer fantastic views down to the sea. Each pool is accompanied by an infants' pool and they are also accessible from the apartment level via an elevator for those with limited mobility. Sun loungers and parasols are available at both pools. COTO REAL PHASE 1 Coto Real is considered to be a safe and secure urbanisation, ideal for couples and families with children and is ideally located close to the port and beaches, yet just far enough away for it to feel like a peaceful retreat. The urbanisation also benefits from an onsite concierge, security, paddle tennis courts and several shared pools which are open daily from 09.30 to 21.30. OPTIONAL EXTRAS - Travel cot available for an additional charge of 3.00 euros per night. - High chair available for an additional charge of 2.00 euros per night. IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE - We can only accept a maximum of 4 adults and a total of 5 guests. - Strictly no smoking inside the apartment. - No parties Coto Real is a peaceful urbanisation and as such, parties and disruptive behaviour in the apartment or any part of the urbanisation are not permitted and noise levels must be kept to a minimum after midnight. - Bed linen and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels. AIRPORTS Malaga - 98.6 km / 61.3 miles (approx. 1 hour drive) Gibraltar - 33.9 km / 21 miles (approx. 30- 40 minute drive) LOCAL AREA Puerto de la Duquesa, the town of San Luis de Sabinillas and its beaches are approx. a 15 minute walk/ 4 minute drive (with free parking). There are taxi ranks at both locations for when you've had too many Sangrias. Puerto de la Duquesa is a lively and charming port and is one of the main social hubs of the area with a wide selection of restaurants and bars offering diverse international cuisine, live music and entertainment. Cruises and fishing trips are also available from the marina. San Luis de Sabinillas is a vibrant coastal town, east of the port, offering all the amenities you could possibly need during your stay, including: shops, cafes, pharmacies, banks, tobacconists, supermarkets, children's play areas, as well as many more restaurants and bars. Castillo de la Duquesa is a small traditional fishing village, a short walk (0.5km) to the west of the port. It is nestled alongside its 18th century castle. There is a small ornately decorated church, a few bars and a number of restaurants, including some fine fish restaurants. The area also boasts several kilometres of beautiful unspoilt, uncrowded, sandy beaches where you can enjoy views across the Mediterranean to Gibraltar and even the coast of Africa on a clear day, as well as mountain and countryside backdrops, as there are very few high rise buildings in the area. The beaches from Sabinillas to Casares are all Blue Flag awarded beaches. Along this stretch of promenade lined beaches you will find several more restaurants, tapas bars and also more than a dozen charming beach bar/restaurants (chiringuitos) where you can hire sun loungers and cabanas and enjoy a lovely lunch and a relaxing cocktail by the sea. COSTA DEL GOLF Golf enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice, as there is an amazing array of championship and prestigious courses within 20 mins of the apartment, including: La Valderrama, Finca Cortesin, La Reserva de Sotogrande, Real Club de Sotogrande, San Roque ( old & new ) and La Hacienda Alcaidesa links. The less experienced golfers or those on a tighter budget can also enjoy a round at nearby courses including: Dona Julia, Casares Costa, Valle Romano, La Canada, Atalaya, Los Arqueros and Duquesa Golf.
