Follow us on IG: boatlakecabinco to see more License 1679-2025 The space As you turn off the gravel road access to the cabin you'll see the street's namesake cedar trees lining the driveway. You will see the lavender inspired seating area and garden bed and enter the enclosed wrap around deck to enter the door. The enclosed deck was made for your dogs to have a safe and relaxing stay! The front/lakeside portion of the cabin has a picnic table, outdoor games like ladder toss and cornhole, a beautiful fire pit with Muskoka chairs and firewood (included :) and a dock with shallow/sandy entrance to the water. The cabin is right on the water - a vacation must! Entering the cabin to the open concept kitchen and living area you will find everything you need to cook some delicious meals and enjoy time with your loved ones. Our motto "disconnect screens | reconnect serene" inspired our layout to revolve around conversation, board games and listening to a record or reading a book rather than more screen time. Enjoy the local art, our favourite board games and other hidden gems as you explore the cabin. Enjoy the coffee bar in the morning (or at any time of the day!) supplied with Kcups and drip coffee station and head out the sliding door a few steps from the dock and serene sights and sounds of the lake. The first bedroom features a double/full size bed with a raised and very comfortable mattress. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with two twin size mattresses. The full bathroom has a shower and everything you need to relax after a day of hiking, the beach or enjoying Boat Lake. Our cabin is a short distance away from many local must-sees like Sauble Beach, Spirit Rock Conservation, The Bruce Trail, Bruce Caves and a great launching point to explore Tobermory and Lion's Head. Guest access Our guests have access to the entire property - the entire cabin to themselves and the lakefront property Other things to note Please note that the community has other cottages nearby. There are neighbours on both side in fairly close proximity but the community is amazing with wonderful people always willing to chat, answer any questions and tell you all about Boat Lake. The concept of our cabin is "Disconnect Screens | Reconnect Serene" and meant to be more of an escape from technology and phones. As such, instead of internet/WIFI, we promote reading some of the books we have, playing board games and some great outdoor games as well as using the canoe, kayak and firepit (with firewood provided:). This may not be for everyone as everyone's travel and vacation expectations may be different. As the cabin is on the water and nestled in a forested area, various animals, critters, rodents and insects may be seen. We strive to keep the cabin as clean as possible to prevent ants, mice and flies but in seasons over the summer when they are super prevalent it is sometimes inevitable that they will get in.
