The interior is designed in neutral tones with natural accents such as wood and stone. A modern very well equipped apartment situated in a Historic Building (1938) with a large open south-west terrace. The listing is in the city centre in walking distance to tourist and cultural attractions, restaurants, cafes. A big supermarket is in front of the building entrance. The space The large windows allow natural light to flood every corner of this big over 180 SQM apartment and offer a spectacular sundown from the 7th floor. The hole apartment has natural oak floors and furniture, mediterranen colours and a relaxing clean atmosphere. The dining room and kitchen are integrated into a modern open plan, which extends out to a spacious south-west terrace offering a stunning view over the Cișmigiu Park (officially opened in 1860), Palace of Parliament and National Orthodox Cathedral, plus breathtaking city panorama. The apartment has 3 completely separated bedrooms with pocket springs matrass (2x 180x200CM /71x79 Inch and 1x 160x200CM /63x79 Inch) and a large 25 SQM living room with 2 extendable sofas (190X140CM /75x55 Inch). Furthermore the apartment has 2 en-suite bathrooms and 2 separate WCs (please see layout plan). The kitchen and dining room overlooking the terrace and park is fully equipped with all modern brand appliances (including dishwasher, microwave, etc.) and can host up to 10 person. The living room has a large Samsung HD TV (65 Inch) and 2 bedrooms also have Samsung HD TVs (55 Inch). All rooms (5) are equipped with new silence ACs. Furthermore the dining and living room as well as 2 bedrooms are equipped with ceiling ventilators, bringing a smooth and fresh atmosphere. All appliances, furniture, beds, linen, kitchen, etc. are new (end of 2024), as the whole apartment. The apartment is equipped with a very eco-efficient central heating system suppling the floor heating (in most of the rooms) and all bathrooms, as well as warm water. The lift in the building is (unfortunately) relatively small offering space for 2 person with moderate luggage. The building is constructed (as most of this Bucharest 'Interbelic Period' buildings) in the mid / end of 1930 in a very solid resistant manner. Due to its unique architecture and famous architect it is registered (RO Ministry of Culture) as a 'Historic Building / Culture Monoment', even if some outside and corridor renovations are ongoing. The kitchen is well equipped for 10 persons with induction stove, microwave, modern oven, blender, numerose pots, pans, all kind of cooking accessories, serving plates, etc. For coffee is a Nespresso machine, French Press as well as tea pot available. Extra cooking equipment as rice cooker, air frighter or larger professional equipment can be supplied on demand; please let me know in advance! Guest access Guest access the listing 24/7 (selve check in) from the main Brezoianu street entrance by a code opening. The apartment (and another of my listings) is located in the 7th floor, reached by elevator or stairs :) Doorkeys are in a lockbox. Once checked in guests can use also the backside entrance directly into the Cismgiu Park. Information on transport Airport - Apartment/ City centre Public transport: The 'best' (depends on time of the day, speed, convenience, person travel, cost, luggage, etc :) way from airport to the apartment, is taxi or to take the Airport train to Gara de Nord and Bus 178. Once you arrive in Gara de Nord you need to take the right hand exit (out of train direction), crossing street on left hand is the bus station about 20 meter. The bus comes frequently! And you can pay in the bus by credit card, using one of the payment devices in the bus. Exit Sala Platoului and last 50 meter by feet. The time to be allocated for the full trip is about 40-50 minutes, from train departure. You can pay by credit card in each of both transports: Ticket train 6 RON (1,20€) bus 3 RON (0,60€ ). Good deal for a 14 kilometer trip! :) Taxi and Online transport: Obviously in Bucharest there are Uber, Bolt, Blue online transport and taxi available. The taxi cost from the airport to the apartment should be around 60-90 RON (around 12-18 €, but not more). If you book via an application (f. e. StarTaxi) you will not be tricked. You can choose usually card or cash (LEI no EURO) payment (please ask driver before starting the trip!). Online transport are usually more expensive (!) and various heavy on time of the day and availability! Due to traffic situation in Bucharest, especially in rush hours (7-10 am, 3-7 pm) it can take about 1,5 hour or even more. During other times approx. 40 minutes. Important note: Please try to avoid parking taxis elsewhere in the city, as in front of the train station, shopping centre, tourists attractions, taxi stops, hotels, etc. as they often (try) to overcharge (even taxi prices are regulated) guests. Download app and use it, it's the best way to get around! Parking: There are a large number parking spaces available in Brezoianu Street which are, as in most of Bucharest city centre area, against parking fee. However during the day time can be crowded and you have to look a bit. During not working hours usually is not so difficult. Parking fees (around 5 LEI /1€ per hour) can be paid via an application called 'Parking Bucharest', which is relatively easy to use. Fees are by hour(s) or day tariff. Also there are vending MACHINES in the streets, which work by car plate number. Parking tickets are regulary controlled! There are also non paid parking spaces, but is rather difficult to identify if they are legal or not. Many locals use them as they know from experience where to get a fine or not. For further information don't hesitate to contact me. Have a save trip! Geo Other things to note This is a new (end of 2024) listing. The apartment (as all my listings and required by local authorities) holds a 3* Hotel License issued by the Romanian Ministry of Tourism. I am also the host of the other apartment on the same 7th floor (left), so the floor is in 'one hand' in case of any issues. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that the elevator is rather small (max. 2 person with moderate luggage), so if you are travelling as a group and/ or carry large bags or items you will need to use it in batches. Please also note that the water pressure of the building (as in many buildings from the construction period) is relatively low due to some ongoing works in the supply system. I am sorry for this, but since the supply and ongoing works are unfortunately out of my control. I am aware of the situation and we are working on a sperate supply pipe for the 7th floor. Smoking is allowed on the terrace and covered balcony. In case of smoking inside the apartment, an additional cleaning fee of 250€ will be added. There is a well equipped relatively big supermarket (MEGA IMAGE chain) just over the street with opening hours 7am - 10pm.
