Description
Take a break away in semi rural north west Ireland in this delightful 2 bedroom stable conversion. With views over the countryside and far reaching views to the Atlantic, this is great place for a romantic break or for your family stay. Located on a small holding, we welcome guests to view the animals and encourage the children to feed the hens or fuss over Nancy the Donkey The space Stable lodge is a conversion of 6 stables. The property comprises entrance porch accessed though a sliding door. Large inner hallway with access to the bathroom which features a showers, wash hand basin and toilet, the mater bedroom which features a king size bed, dressing table and ottoman for extra storage, the second bedroom which offers bunk bed sleeping, a double on the bottom and single on top, double wardrobe and a dressing table. Also off the hallway is access to the kitchen which features a range of kitchen presses, gas cooker and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and air fryer. A table for seating for 4. Through from the kitchen is the lounge which boasts a picture perfect window over the cottage garden and fields and valley beyond. Large L shape sofa, nest of tables and the TV and WIFI box. The property is located on the family farm but is separate from the main house and the one other rental property offering seclusion. On the farm we have chickens and ducks, Mr and Mrs Honky the pea fowl, Nancy the donkey, a few horses. We do have dogs and cats on the farm, and the cats may visit as they appear to do what they want to do, but the dogs are kept away from guests. These are animals and as such can make noises. We are located down a farm track and this can be bumpy. This is an old stable conversion and in the storms we get in storm seasons you could maybe hear them. Please note I am only writing this and it may seem obvious but would like to make guests aware this is rural Ireland and when we get storms the wind can howl up off the Atlantic. We are pet friendly and as such can not guarantee that the property will be 100% animal hair free. If you suffer from allergies to animals this is not the place for you. Guest access Property will be left unlocked and keys inside Other things to note We welcome families and encourage interaction with the animals so if any child/ or even adults want to egg collect or feed hens please let us know.
