Located in a small hamlet, 25km from Grenoble, 42km from Chambéry, 5km from village surrounded by fir trees & green pastures. Guest access 📍Guests have separate access via wide External Stairs on East side directly facing Chamechaude (2 082m altitude), the 4th most climbed mountain in metropolitan France. Guests can also walk around our property for its higher viewpoint. 🥐🧀🥩🍎 From our gîte, the village of Saint Pierre de Chartreuse is 5km away where you will find an Excellent bakery, Le Fournil de SPC with delicious croissant, pain au chocolat, éclairs with Chartreuse green liqueur, etc ; also, cheese shop, butcher's shop, pharmacy, mini-market SPAR, sports shop/bike-ski rental, bar, restaurants and municipal swimming pool (open only during summer). ● INTERACTION WITH GUESTS ■ 👫No disturbance on your arrival, our Guests can contact us at any time. We'd like to respect their privacy. We're sometimes travelling in Grand East for work. All instructions are explained in a binder with maps. We are available if they have questions. NO smoking/NO vapoting inside the gîte. 🚭 Smoking and vaping are Only Allowed Outside-even during winter, we have ashtrays. 🚬The odor of cigarette stays and difficult to remove-so it's an Important Note. 💝 Tidying up at the end of the stay is requested: 1. taking out the trash 2. washing used dishes and 3. for dog owners - sweeping up dog hair. We 💓🐶 ~ Pet Owners, let us know if a furry friend is coming so we can prepare a Dog bed. Please DO NOT leave your dog Alone in our gîte.
