The space Puesta Del Sol Resort is nestled on the idyllic Jaltemba Bay, this private luxurious resort, Puesta Del Sol, offers an exclusive oceanfront experience. It features six unique villas that can accommodate up to twenty-six adults, making it an ideal luxury retreat for gatherings with friends and family, corporate events, weddings or celebrations! Each villa is equipped with a private living room, dining room, full kitchen, and terrace. The resort's infinity pool and private dining pier are stunning architectural features that immerse you in the area's natural beauty while maintaining your privacy. Chef prepared breakfast, lunch and dinners are included. These meals are cooked in the resort kitchen and the views from the adjacent seating area and dinning pier are just spectacular! Our head chef Daniel, makes locally sourced, delicious and innovative meals and incorporates many different types of cuisine based on your groups’ preferences. There is a full sports court featuring basketball, pickleball, volleyball, tennis, shuffleboard, and badminton and the adjacent room has a great pool table! There's also a private gym and spa. BEDROOM & BATHROOM Villa Pearl (Villa 1) offers 1,281 square feet of indoor living space and a large ocean view patio. Villa Pearl affords tremendous privacy but is just steps from the resort’s expansive infinity pool and beach access. It has a floor to ceiling, vast west-facing retractable glass wall with unobstructed ocean and Isla del Coral views. There are 2 luxurious bedrooms and lovely half bath off the living space and a full chef-style kitchen. • Bedroom 1: features a custom king rectangular bed with breathtaking ocean views, a television, and its own ensuite bathroom of biophilic design that incorporates elements of nature to create a soothing and rejuvenating space. • Bedroom 2: offers a custom king rectangular bed with breathtaking ocean views, there is also a television and ensuite bathroom that embodies its unique approach to connecting you to nature and enhancing your wellbeing. Villa Whale (Villa 2) offers 1,453 square feet of living space and features a west-facing retractable glass wall that gives you unobstructed views of the Ocean and Isla del Coral. There are two luxurious bedrooms and a full chef-style kitchen. • Bedroom 3: is located on the second story of Villa Whale and the room features a custom king rounded bed with breathtaking ocean views, a television and its own ocean-facing balcony and ensuite bathroom of biophilic design that incorporates elements of nature to create a renewing effect. • Bedroom 4: Also offers an a custom king rounded bed with breathtaking ocean views and a private terrace. The room comes with its own bathroom that embodies its unique approach to connecting you to nature and enhancing your wellbeing. Villa Seahorse (Villa 3): offers 1,615 square feet of living space. There are two luxurious bedrooms with their own bathrooms and a half bath off the main living area. There is also a full chef-style kitchen. • Bedroom 5: This upstairs bedroom features a custom king rounded bed and its own ensuite bathroom of biophilic design that incorporates elements of nature to create a soothing and rejuvenating space. • Bedroom 6: This beautiful downstairs bedroom offers a custom king rectangular bed . The room comes with its own bathroom that embodies its unique approach to connecting you to nature and enhancing your wellbeing. Villa Crab (Villa 4): offers 2,357 square feet of indoor living space. Through a tremendous glass wall and many windows guests are provided unobstructed views of the ocean and Isla del Coral. There are four luxurious bedrooms (3 with private ensuite bathrooms) and a half bath near the living area and and a full chef-style kitchen. • Bedroom 7: This spacious bedroom is located on the second floor of the villa and has a custom rectangular king size bed, television, expansive ocean views from room and private balcoy, and an ensuite luxurious bathroom that features a shower ceiling that opens to the sky above and creates a connection to nature offering a soothing and rejuvenating environment. • Bedroom 8: Is located on the first story of Villa Crab and features a custom king rounded bed with ocean views and a television and its own ensuite bathroom of biophilic design that incorporates elements of nature to create renewing effect as well as an Ensuite bathroom of biophilic design that incorporates elements of nature to create a renewing effect and includes a stand alone rain shower and large soaking bathtub. • Bedroom 9: Is located on the first story of Villa Crab and offers a custom king rounded bed, a television and comes with its own bathroom that embodies its unique approach to connecting you to nature and enhancing your wellbeing. • Bedroom 10: Is located on the first story of Villa Crab and offers a custom king rounded bed, a television and a tremendous glass wall of windows looking out to sea and Isa Coral. This bedroom is the only bedroom at the resort without an ensuite bathroom. Villa Dolphin (Villa 5) offers 1,206 Square feet, a top floor location and breathtaking ocean and Isla Del Coral views. There is a large luxurious bedroom with a wonderful ensuite bathroom and a full chef-style kitchen. There is also a lovely half bathroom off the living room. • Bedroom 11: offers a custom king rectangular bed with breathtaking ocean views, a television, a private ocean view balcony and a luxurious bathroom that features a rain shower with a ceiling that opens to the sky with views of the trees above that creates a connection to nature offering a soothing and rejuvenating environment. Villa Turtle (Villa 6) affords tremendous privacy but is just steps from the resort’s expansive infinity pool and beach access. Villa Turtle offers 1,292 square feet of indoor living space. There are two luxurious bedrooms and a full chef-style kitchen. • Bedroom 12: Features a custom king rectangular bed with wonderful jungle views, a television and private balcony and its own ensuite bathroom of biophilic design that incorporates elements of nature to create a soothing and rejuvenating space. Bedroom 12: Offers a custom king rectangular bed and television and comes with its own bathroom that embodies its own unique approach to connecting you to nature and enhancing your wellbeing. Guest access Guests will have full and exclusive private access to the entire property, including the 6 villas and all the common areas and amenities. Use our snorkeling equipment to explore the abundant underwater life in the 100-meter wide reef 50 meters off shore of the resort. Activities in the area: A short 15-minute boat ride will take you to the world-class La Caleta surf break, spearfishing and snorkeling spots at Coral Island, dorado fishing in the bay, and several other secluded beaches and our superb adventure guide Augustine can be hired to accompany you in his boat. For more adventure, Agustine can guide you on an ATV jungle excursion in the Sierra Madre mountains. -There is also the opportunity for guests to take in the wonder of the vibrant and diverse animal life throughout Rivera Nayarit and participate in ecotourism! Just a walk down the beach from the resort there is a Mexican sea turtle protection preserve. Out of the seven species of sea turtles in the world, six of them arrive in Mexico each year between May and November to nest and lay their eggs. The sea turtle release program in Riviera Nayarit helps many of the endangered species increase their population numbers. The nesting season for sea turtles in Nayarit is from May to September and the incubation period is about 6 to 8 weeks. Baby sea turtle releases at La Penita Beach usually begins in August and continues though November. Come be a part of this interactive, educational, and emotional experience while helping increase the survival rate of new turtle hatchlings. -Swim with whale sharks, the largest fish on the planet, measuring 40 feet or more. They are large, slow moving, filter-feeding fish that eat mostly plankton, crustaceans, and small fish, therefore they pose no threat to humans. Whale sharks migrate to Riviera Nayarit from May through September which is the ideal time to take an unforgettable swim with them. -On many adventurer’s bucket lists is the sighting of Blue-footed Boobies. There are tours to Marietas Islands National Park, Isla Lobos, Isla Isabel, San Blas mangrove eco region just to name a few of the local areas you can enjoy watching these incredible birds at all the different stages of their development. The best time to see blue-footed boobies in Nayarit, Mexico is between October and March though the birds mate on land in the region throughout the year. -Dolphin spotting and whale watching is best during the winter months and absolutely breathtaking to view from the Villas and the resort grounds. -The El Cora Crocodile Sanctuary is located in the heart of the mangroves of the El Quelele Estuary in neighboring Bucerías. The sanctuary is run by a government organization that handles their protection and conservation as well as environmental education and ecotourism. There are guided tours for groups up to 20 people starting every 20 minutes and lasting approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. During the tour you’ll have the chance to learn from specialized biologists and veterinarians, interact with crocodiles and if the time is right, you can even feed them (the crocodiles are on a controlled diet, so it’s not always possible to do this).
