Cosy apartment in historic A'dam
Description
You’re welcome at my cosy 1-bedroom apartment in one of the most beautiful areas of the city. Filled with lots of plants and colour, and a big golden disco ball to top it all off. Close to Central Station and the famous canals and surrounded by great places to eat and drink The space My place has everything you need for a pleasant stay: a good kitchen with an oven and an espresso machine. There's a comfy bed (160 cm wide), a dining table that you can also work from and of course a good couch. There’s a tv with Apple TV. The house dates from 1878 and is listed as a monument. It overlooks a canal and is next to ‘Prinseneiland’ - considered by many to be the most beautiful part of Amsterdam. That's a true hidden gem in the city, and I feel lucky every day I cycle through. Central Station is a few minutes by bus, and you can walk there in about 20 minutes. Haarlemmerstraat and the Jordaan neighbourhood are known for all the restaurants from all over, quaint shops and hipster coffee places. There's a bunch of places nearby where you can swim in the canals and the river, as well as the lively Wester Park. If you want to see a different part of Amsterdam, hop on the free ferry to NDSM Wharf; an industrial heritage site packed with art & design and lots of festivals in summer. The ferry stop is next to the house. Guest access I have a key box, so when I'm not around you can check-in any time. Other things to note * No smoking in the house please * It's not a party-place; I'm in a residential building * The Energy label is E (mandatory to list this in the Netherlands) Registration Details 0363 AB26 F4EE 4E0E 0361
