The space Our home is on the corner of a family friendly block just steps from restaurants and downtown life. We have a fully updated lower level apartment with a private entrance for your quiet getaway. The apartment does have stairs to access, one detached bathroom, laundry, a living room with connected kitchen area. An eating area/ work space and a bedroom with a door. Art and clean contemporary decor make this a unique space for you and one other guest to enjoy. Msg us if you need complete quiet otherwise you may hear us and our cat upstairs. Walk down to the end of our street to connect with Lake Superior and all the waterfront district has to offer. Guest access Enter through the back door of the house and down the set of stairs. This is your private entrance locked from the main floor of the house where we live. You will have total Privacy and quiet while you are here, as well as your own bathroom and locked space. The Bathroom is detached/adjacent Other things to note Please note that our upstairs living area is off limits and will be locked from access as we do have two cats who are eager to get outside. The basement apartment does have slightly lower ceilings just in the hallway. The bathroom is a small detached basic three piece with standard shower. If you are 6ft+ or have mobility issues, this may not be the perfect space for you! Parking is free on the street, plenty of spaces available at your discretion. Heat is provided by vents, with additional baseboard heating in the living room controlled by a knob. Please turn it on and off as you enter and exit the space. We’ve provided an additional space heater in the bedroom Should you be staying with us in the winter. There is a space heater in the hallway leading to the bathroom as well. We want you to be comfortable messaging us if you require the vent heat to be turned up or any additional temperature adjustments.
