The loft area requires climbing steps or a ladder, so channel your inner mountain goat and ascend with pride! You might find one of the local pups napping on the porch or in the flower bed. They’re harmless but do have a knack for barking at other dogs, especially during the witching hours of the night. Speaking of adventures, we have a lovely pond out front where fishing is encouraged! But, bring your own poles. Just be aware it’s down a steep hill, so kids will need to be supervised. If you need live bait or fishing gear, there’s a local bait shop just 1.5 miles away. For your shopping needs, Sav-A-Lot and Dollar General are a mere 1.5 miles away, and if you’re craving ice cream (who isn’t?), Dairy Queen and Walgreens are about 7 miles into town. Also, the cabin is right off the road. The good news is that the road isn't very busy but you will hear the occasional vehicle drive by. I have a tool shed adjacent to the property and down the gravel road. I may need to drive onto the property and access the shed occasionally.
