Firefly on the Creekside

Stay under the stars with the noisy creek just outside your window, and enjoy the soaking tub by the creek. Fish, float, wade, grill on the wood pellet grill or the outside charcoal grill. Sit by the firepit, and listen to nature. A queen size memory foam bed, a futon, a hot/cold outside shower, composting toilet, running potable water, a short drive to wineries, breweries, and local dining. The Blue Ridge Parkway and I-77, is 6 miles away. A separate bathroom is also on the property. The space The Firefly is on level ground, 12 ft from the creek bank. It has running potable water, a kitchen sink and a bathroom sink and a composting toilet that is clean and odorless. There is a bathhouse at the property entrance with a flushable toilet, sink and an outside shower. During cold weather, 25 degrees and lower, water may not be available, so bring your own. I keep wood pellets for the pellet heater, for your stay, and space heaters as well. There is plenty of firewood onsite as well. Guest access The guests can use the whole creek front property. Other things to note There is a clean composting toilet and sink with hot/cold water, inside The Firefly, a hot/cold outdoor shower, a pellet grill is on the deck and a charcoal grill is beside the tent, grilling tools are there, and counter space for the serious outdoorsman chef.
