Firefly the Creek with Outdoor Soaking Tub

Welcome to Firefly, a unique retreat beside a cold, clear, stone-bottom creek. 🌿 Fish, float, or simply sit by the water and let the soothing sounds of the creek slow you down. Soak in the tub, grill dinner, then gather around the firepit beneath the stars. Cozy up in a queen memory-foam bed and enjoy a hot/cold outdoor shower and pure drinking water from a 1,000-foot-deep aquifer. Explore nearby wineries, breweries, dining, and the Blue Ridge Parkway & I-77, just 6 miles away. 🐾 Pets welcome! The space Firefly is nestled on level ground, just 12 feet from the creek bank, making it easy to enjoy the water and surrounding nature. 🌿 You’ll have hot and cold running water, a kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and a clean, odor-free composting toilet. A separate bathhouse near the property entrance offers a flushable toilet, sink, and outdoor shower. For colder weather (25°F or below), water service may be unavailable, so please bring drinking water just in case. We provide wood pellets for the pellet heater and a propane wall heater, and there’s plenty of firewood onsite to keep your evenings cozy. 🔥 Guest access Guests of the Firefly are welcome to use all of the property and creek access. Other things to note Step outside and make the creek part of your experience. 🌿 The outdoor soaking tub has hot running water, perfect for relaxing beside the creek after a day of exploring. Tubes are available for floating and enjoying the cool, clear water. Keep your eyes open—you never know when local wildlife may wander by! 🐻 🦌✨ . The creek is also stocked with rainbow trout regularly, and it is teaming with indigenous brown trout. A washer and dryer are also available for guests, making longer stays easy and comfortable.
