Our Farm consists of four Vacation Rentals, our personal home, and shared spaces such as the Pool, Poolhouse, Poolhouse Kitchen & BBQ. Surrounded by rolling hills, and ocean cliffs, and set within a large nature preserve, this tranquil escape is perfect for relaxation, wellness, wine tasting, nature and surf adventures. Blanco Bungalow is designed as a peaceful retreat where guests come to rest and recharge. As a working farm, the property is home to horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and ducks. You may see and hear them throughout your stay, and they are part of daily life here. Life here is shared with animals and nature, something animal lovers tend to feel right at home with. Some of our animals roam freely around the property and may occasionally come by to say hello. As these spaces are shared, please clean up after yourself and hand wash all dishes and cookware if cooking. For safety reasons, animal areas are off-limits to guests. Please do not enter these spaces or open gates to the ponies, chickens, ducks, geese, or dogs, unless accompanied by the owners. Ocotillo Spa - we have an outdoor spa with Wood Fired Sauna, Wood Fired Soaking Tub, Ice Bath & Outdoor Shower. This is available only for private bookings at an additional cost and only available at certain times. Please message us to book the Spa separately. With four rentals on the property, we aim to provide a peaceful and rejuvenating experience for all. We are focused on a quiet, relaxing environment. If you have children, please ensure they are well-behaved at all times. We ask that all guests respect our home, one another, and follow house rules to ensure an enjoyable stay for everyone at The Blanco Bungalow. Other things to note At The Blanco Bungalow, our priority is creating a peaceful, relaxed environment where guests can truly unwind. While we do welcome children, we ask that they be calm, well-behaved, and always supervised. Running, screaming, or disruptive behavior isn’t permitted, as many of our guests come here to escape noise and chaos. If your children are especially energetic or difficult to manage in shared spaces, this may not be the right setting for your stay. We take a laid-back, trusting approach—and hope our guests will too. Please be mindful and treat our homes with great care. Many of our furnishings are antiques or one-of-a-kind pieces that are irreplaceable. We ask that you treat them even more gently than you would your own. Lastly, gas, water, and electricity are precious resources in Portugal. Please help us conserve by turning off lights when not in use and being thoughtful with water and power usage during your stay.
