Comfort, calm and proximity: our family chalet welcomes you in a green and serene setting. Freshly renovated, it combines modern comfort and a warm mountain atmosphere. At the entrance to the Crans-Montana resort, close to the Régent (college and convention center) and the Crans-Montana Zier-Régent bus stop, it is within walking distance (1-1.5 km) of shops, restaurants, ski lifts, and golf. The space Ideal for a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children), this accommodation can accommodate up to 8 people. On two levels, it offers a generous living space with living room, kitchen and dining room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a dressing room, as well as a balcony and a garden. The space in detail: The upper ground floor consists of a large and welcoming living space (approx. 35 m2) that is open and bright, including a seating area (including a sofa bed) with TV and Bluetooth radio, a fully equipped modern kitchen (including basic ingredients), as well as a dining room with a large friendly table that can seat up to 14 people. A stove also heats the room. A bathroom (with small bathtub) completes the floor. At the entrance, a dressing room (approx. 5 m2) allows you to store shoes, outdoor clothing and sports equipment without cluttering the accommodation. A balcony (9 m2) borders the main room. On the lower ground floor (access to the garden) there are two cozy bedrooms: a children's room (approx. 11 m2) with a bunk bed and a trundle bed (which can accommodate up to 4 children or 2 adults), and a master bedroom (approx. 9.5 m2) with a king size bed. Each room has a small desk for homework or teleworking. The hallway offers additional storage space. Bathroom with double sink and Italian shower completes the sleeping area. Guests also have access to the washing machine and dryer, located in the storage room. For optimal comfort, the entire property is equipped with underfloor heating and has recently been insulated (2023). Each living room has USB sockets and shutters or blackout blinds. Facilities for small children (extra bed, high chair, baby relax, stroller pads, etc.) are available upon request. The chalet has a sunny balcony and is surrounded by a garden, ideal for enjoying the sun in complete privacy in summer or playing in the snow in winter (a slight slope at the edge of the woods can serve as a toboggan run for the little ones). Our concept: We renovated this place to stay with family, as well as to share this experience by renting it to guests. According to Airbnb's original concept (as we discovered 11 years ago in the United States), it is important to us not only to offer our visitors an impersonal vacation home, but a home where they feel at home, and to which they will be ready to give the same care as if it were their own home. This accommodation was fully renovated and furnished by us between 2022 and 2024. The work was carried out by local artisans, and the materials and furniture were chosen with attention to quality and detail, in order to create a warm and modern mountain atmosphere. Janique & Jonathan Guest access A parking space for two cars is available 15 meters from the entrance. An additional parking space in front of the entrance is accessible in the absence of snow. The Crans-sur-Sierre Zier-Régent bus stop (served by the postal bus connecting Sion and the Swiss rail network, and by the local bus connecting the entire Crans-Montana-Aminona resort) is less than 100 meters from the chalet, allowing you to reach the Crans-Cry d'Er ski lifts, as well as the shops and restaurants of Crans in less than ten minutes. On foot, these are accessible in 15-20 minutes, as is the Golf Club Crans-sur-Sierre. The Snow Island winter recreation area, located on the golf course, with its beginner ski slopes and toboggan run is accessible in just over 10 minutes on foot. Various hiking trails are also within walking distance from the chalet. The accommodation is located in a private chalet, surrounded by a garden, and located on the edge of a small wood. A second apartment, in principle reserved for the owners and rarely occupied, is located in the attic of the chalet. You will most likely be the only occupants of the house during your stay.
