Relax and enjoy your time with your loved ones at our house. Our family's father runs a dairy farm. If you'd like to see the pasture and sheep, we'll be happy to show you around The space -Your Private Retreat in Kushiro This is a private, entire-house rental, limited to one group per day. The base rate covers up to 4 guests, with an additional charge for each guest beyond the fourth. Please note that meals are not provided. The house is 38 years old, with a total floor area of 87㎡ and a layout of 4LDK (4 rooms, a living room, dining area, and kitchen). The kitchen and wallpaper have been renovated, while traditional Japanese elements have been preserved and carefully maintained. There are steps leading up to the entrance and in the entryway. To reach the bedrooms with beds on the second floor, you must use stairs, which are somewhat steep. Please note that the property is not wheelchair accessible. ● For families with young children If you are concerned about children falling from beds, we can prepare futons on the first floor bedroom for safer sleeping arrangements. We also place potentially hazardous items, such as electric kettles, out of reach of small children as much as possible. ● Bedding We provide sleeping arrangements for up to 7 guests as follows: Second-floor bedroom 1 double bed 2 single beds First-floor bedroom 3 sets of futon bedding ● Amenities Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, face towels, bath towels, hair dryer, and a hair straightener are provided. ● Bathroom The bathroom is compact and retro-style, but the faucet has been replaced with a modern one and features an automatic water heating system. If you prefer a larger bath, we recommend visiting Tenkū-no-Yu, a public bathhouse about 5 minutes away on foot. ● Private Farm Visit (Optional Experience) You can visit a sheep farm run by our family. We can also introduce nearby horseback riding experiences upon request. The farm is about 30 minutes away by car. We are unable to provide transportation, but the host can lead the way in a separate car, and you may follow by driving your own vehicle. Other things to note ◇ Please note that as the building is 38 years old, there are some signs of wear and aging that cannot be fully removed, including minor scratches and stains. ◇ We clean thoroughly before each stay, but as this is an older building, insects such as spiders may occasionally appear. If you are someone who absolutely cannot tolerate even small bugs, we kindly recommend considering alternative accommodations. ◇ There are steps at the entrance, including the approach and stairs. ◇ To avoid disturbing our neighbors, please refrain from loud voices or noise after 8:00 PM. ◇ Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire property. If smoking or cigarette butts are found inside the facility, a special cleaning fee of ¥30,000 will be charged. ◇ Any significant damage or staining to the furniture or building will be subject to compensation. This is a well-maintained property that has been cared for over many years—we would be grateful if you could treat it with care and respect. ◇ Advance notice is required if you plan to bring a service dog. ◇ Guest Information Submission In accordance with Japanese law, all guests are required to submit personal information. For guests from overseas, a copy of your passport is also required. This information is used solely for the purpose of creating the legally mandated guest registry and will not be disclosed, provided, sold, outsourced, or shared for any other purpose.
