Be prepared for glamour camping experience and a composting toilet in the adjacent outhouse. Please know the space may not be suitable for children under 5. See also our adorable Woodlyn Spring Spa Sauna Retreat cabin, great for family stays. The space We provide a unique, glamour camping experience in the trees. It is still an outdoor experience so we can only do so much to keep the critters, bugs, and outdoors out. It is a magical place to unwind from the busy city, although if you are not an outdoorsy person keep this in mind :) This professionally built structure sits within 3 trees, designed to grow with the trees and sway gently in the wind. There are battery operated lights, a gas stove for cooking and heating thru the winter, and a composting toilet in an adjacent outhouse. We provide water. It's best to bring along a cooler and easy foods to enjoy, although dining options are not far. Items to bring along: Flashlight/headlamp(we provide lighting inside), both hiking shoes and slippers to wear in the treehouse. The sleeping loft has a mattress perfect for two(we provide linens) and a second mattress in the loft. Sleeping pads for any additional guest. There is a fire pit nearby the treehouse, we do not supply firewood. We do not allow fires if conditions are dry and/or windy. Please inquire. Guest access The property is over 120 acres, with hiking trails. We do have other camp sites and AirBnb rentals so just be mindful of other guests, but otherwise you are welcome to walk around the farm. Hike up to the overlook (up the gravel road) and down to the fenced in garden. During summer there are options for pick your own, just send a message before doing so :) Other things to note There are 3 Anatolian Shepherd dogs roam free on the property. They may bark at your car. Keep driving and they will get out of your way. They are very friendly. If you have a fear of dogs, this is not the place for you. The driveway is gravel and some parts are steep. After PARKING AT THE SIGN for the Trillium Treehouse it is a short walk(about 40 yards).
