Kwomais Point Hideaway

Welcome to Kwomais Point! Our one bedroom Airbnb suite is nestled between Crescent Beach and White Rock Beach. Enjoy watching the eagles soar and sunsets over Semiahmoo Bay from the lookout at Kwomais Point, or access the beach via 1001 Steps, which is a very short walk away. The space The 550 sq. foot suite is has 9 foot ceilings, and recessed lighting in the main area and high end finishes throughout. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a roomy closet with an iron and ironing board. There is a pull out in the living room and a television with access to our cable package (including Netflix, Crave and Prime TV). High speed 5G wifi supports remote work. The bathroom is spacious and has a full sized washer and steam dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, including dishwasher. As there is limited street parking, the suite is best suited for guests with one vehicle only. Guest access There are 10 steps from garden level to the entry level of the suite. There is a covered area above the entrance. Location: 15 minute drive to Peace Arch Border Crossing (to United States) and a 12 minute drive to access Highway 99 (towards airport and downtown Vancouver). Transit: a 5 minute walk to stops for busses that will take you to Bridgeport Skytrain Station, Peace Arch Hospital or White Rock City Center. Parking: street parking is available. Other things to note This area is known for its parks, birdwatching, trails, and beaches. We are adjacent to Kwomais Park, which has a scenic lookout over Semiahmoo Bay, and a short walk to Fun Fun Park. Crescent Park, a 128 acre park with walking trails, playgrounds, sports fields, pickle ball and tennis courts, is minutes away. The very popular 1001 Steps, which are stairs and a trail leading directly to the beach, are also a short walk. The closest shopping centre is Ocean Park Village Centre, which is also walking distance. It has a grocery store, pharmacy, liquor store, fresh produce market, Cobbs Bread, local clothing boutiques and restaurants…Morrison Cafe has a great breakfast, Ocean Park Pub has some of the best pizza in town, Sakuya Sushi is always fresh and well priced, and Islands Cafe’s açai bowls are neighbourhood favourites. There are also good takeout options, a Starbucks and a public library. Both Crescent Beach and White Rock Beach are 10 minutes away.
