Cooinda, translates to 'Happy place'. Set in the picturesque hinterland of Byron Bay. Just a stones throw away from popular villages Bangalow, Newrybar and only moments away from the popular beaches of broken head, byron bay and lennox heads. A central location to experience both the beach, and country. Set on over 70 acres, the long meandering (unsealed) driveway takes you up to the elevated north facing family home where you are greeted with spectacular views of Mt Warning, and surrounds. The space Please note this property comfortably sleeps 16 but 16+ is the only option for number of guests after 15...quite confusing when you are looking for accomodation for a certain number. Consequently it shows 15 but know that means 16! Cooinda Byron Bay is a very comfortable and spacious home that is perfect for entertaining. Although the house is quite close to the highway, its elevated position with no near neighbours makes it a great choice for larger groups as you have complete privacy. All of our beds offer resort luxury comfort mattresses with 100% cotton sheets and cotton/linen doona covers with extra blankets available during the cooler months. The bedding configuration is as follows: - Master bedroom with ensuite: 1 x king bed (with the option of splitting into 2 singles) - Bedroom 2: 2 x single beds - Bedroom 3: 2 x single beds - Bedroom 4: 1 x queen bed - Bedroom 5: 4 x queen beds The 2 single rooms can also be made into king beds if you would prefer. All linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided for each guest and a portacot is also available on request. There are two spacious living areas, dining area and fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, large pantry and fridge to store all of your supplies. With Wi-Fi and two smart TVs everyone will be happy when they want to curl up for a movie night. For outdoor entertaining there are large covered decks, a huge fenced pool area with your own hot tub...perfect for those sunset drinks...and a fire pit for those chilly nights. There's a large backyard and plenty of room for any outdoor games. You have the property to yourselves and although you are quite close to the highway there are no near neighbours which makes it very private. The driveway is 1.4km long and gravel so please be aware of this when considering transport. Most cars will be perfectly fine however if your vehicle is lowered you may need to take this into consideration.
