Description
*Please read full description before booking.* Granite Point is a remote haven located on Resurrection Bay, just 12 miles from Seward, Alaska. Accessible only by boat or helicopter, the property features four private cabins and one larger lodge, all perched on a dramatic cliffside. This unique location offers unparalleled views of Resurrection Bay and the surrounding mountains. The space Pepper Creek Cabin is a charming, solid cedar structure with a cozy front porch. Measuring 12 x 14 feet, it’s the perfect size for a romantic getaway or a snug family retreat. The sleeping arrangements include a queen pillow-top bed in the loft and a queen futon downstairs, offering comfort and relaxation after a day of adventure. The kitchen area is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, including cabinets stocked with cookware, utensils, and dishes. You’ll have a two-burner propane cooktop, a small oven for baking, a full-sized sink, and ample counter space to make cooking a breeze. There’s also a lovely dining table for four, perfect for enjoying your meals with a view. This is a "dry" cabin, which means guests must use jugs of water for hand and dish washing. Filtered drinking water is provided. Lighting is provided by energy-efficient, battery-operated LED lamps—no electricity, just the natural charm of the wilderness. All you need to bring is yourself and your provisions, and you’re set to begin your Alaskan adventure! Pepper Creek Cabin is nestled in the forest right next to a fresh water stream and only steps from the beach, where water taxis and helicopters pick up and drop off guests, offering the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. Guest access For adventurers, Granite Point is a dream come true. Enjoy direct access to our private beach, hiking trails, and complimentary use of paddleboards and kayaks. Steps from your door, find world-class paddling—explore alongside humpback whales, sea lions, and porpoises while birdwatching, fishing, or simply soaking in the magic of the fjords. Please note, this is a remote setting. To reach your cabin, guests will ascend four steep staircases and traverse a short 30-yard trail. As such, travelers should be self-reliant, in good physical condition, and prepared for a bit of adventure. We recommend backpack-style packing, as suitcases can be difficult to manage on the stairs. Be sure to bring gear suited to your activities, including sturdy hiking boots, full rain gear, and warm synthetic layers. Additionally, guests should plan to bring their own food and ice for coolers. Bathrooms provided are outhouses or composting toilets. Please note that Pepper Creek Cabin is accessible directly from the beach, and avoids the staircases and trail.
