Other things to note ◼Access 　A six-minute walk from JR Iidabashi and Subway Iidabashi stations. 　Iidabashi Station is served by five lines, including subway lines. 　A seven-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Kagurazaka Station. ◾️About Kagurazaka 　As the name suggests, Kagurazaka is a town located on a slope. Climbing it all at once can be quite exhausting. Please take your time to climb up while browsing the surrounding shops. If you are not confident about carrying a suitcase up the hill, it is recommended to take a taxi from the next station to Zenkokuji Temple at the top of the hill. (It is too short a distance to take a taxi from the nearest station, Iidabashi Station.) ◼Facilities around Kagurazaka 　The main street of Kagurazaka has shopping streets on both sides of the hill. The following facilities are within a five-minute radius of Étoile: Four convenience stores (two Seven-Eleven, two Family Mart) Two drugstores Restaurant chains (Sushiro, Matsuya, Saizeriya, Royal Host, etc.) Karaoke stores, izakayas (Japanese-style pubs), etc. Numerous private restaurants, including ramen shops, sushi restaurants, French, Italian, and Japanese cuisine. The bathrooms and other facilities may be smaller or older compared to newer buildings, but we have DIY-ed the space to create a cozy Parisian apartment-like atmosphere. We hope you will like it. There is a high counter for working and dining. ◾️ About Luggage Storage Étoile is an unmanned accommodation. Therefore, we do not offer luggage storage before check-in or after check-out. ◼Unlimited, free high-speed Wi-Fi 　Perfect for remote work. ◾️ About TV There is a 24-inch TV. Please log in with your Google account to use it. ※ Terrestrial TV channels are not available. ◾️Luggage storage 　You can store your suitcase in the lower section of the deep closet. ■Cleaning 　 Generally, sheets and towels will not be changed during your stay, but simple cleaning is available for a fee. Please inquire separately. (Please use the in-room washing machine or nearby coin laundromat as needed.)　　　　 ■Condiments 　For infection control reasons, we do not provide condiments. ■Kitchen cleaning 　Leaving leftover food and drinks unattended can attract insects. Please wash used dishes and clean the kitchen area each time. ■Garbage separation 　Please cooperate with Tokyo’s garbage separation rules. 　How to separate garbage: Dispose of it in the bins provided in the room. Burnable garbage (paper waste, cloth, plastic bags, food waste (drain the water and tie the bag before disposing)) PET bottles Cans, bottles Other items like cardboard and magazines should be placed together. *For stays longer than a week, we will discuss the timing of garbage collection. ■About Consumables 　 We provide a sufficient amount of consumables such as toilet paper. If you run out, please purchase them at a nearby convenience store or drugstore. Please do not take consumables or equipment (appliances, towels, etc.) with you. If taken, we will charge the actual cost. Please do not touch staff equipment. ■We provide bath towels and face towels. Please bring your own nightwear. ◾️About Windows Since Étoile is located on the first floor of the building, the windows are locked and do not open for guest safety. Additionally, as it is on the first floor, small insects may enter when the door is opened, so please open and close the door quickly and do not leave it open. ◾️About Noise Etoile is located in a relatively quiet residential area. To avoid disturbing the neighbors, please keep noise to a minimum between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM. (We also recommend checking in during appropriate hours for the same reason.) At the same time, please note that you may occasionally hear cheerful voices from nearby restaurants. You might also hear birds, children, and tourists. Since Etoile is part of an apartment complex, you may also hear sounds from neighboring units. If you are particularly sensitive to noise, Etoile may not be the best choice for you. Parties and events are not permitted, as they can cause disturbances to the neighbors. ◾️Submission of Personal Information 　Étoile provides accommodation in accordance with Japanese laws. Under Japanese law regulating private lodging businesses, guests staying at private accommodations are required to submit the following information: - Names, addresses, contact phone numbers, occupations, nationalities, passport numbers, and copies of the passport photo pages of all guests. Please note that if this information is not submitted by the deadline, your reservation may be canceled and you may not be accommodated. ◾️Number of Guests 　 For a comfortable stay, we recommend accommodation for two people. If you plan to stay with three people, including small children, it will be quite cramped, so please consult with the host before making a reservation. - Two semi-single beds (80cm x 200cm) 　　The size of a queen bed with two beds (160cm x 200cm) 　- Room size is 18㎡ ■Regarding Security Cameras The cameras are installed outside the house. They are used to verify the identity and number of guests. Only registered guests are allowed to enter the rooms. If someone who is not registered enters the accommodation, a penalty of 100,000 yen will be charged, and the reservation will be canceled. Guests will be asked to leave immediately. No refunds will be given in this case. ◾️About smoking Etoile is a non-smoking establishment, both indoors and outdoors. Please strictly adhere to this rule to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests. If a guest smokes in the room, the guest will be required to pay an additional cleaning and deodorization fee (50,000 yen). In addition, a non-operation charge (20,000 yen per day) will be incurred depending on the condition of the room. (※If there are no cigarette butts left in the room but the room smells of cigarettes, the above measures will be taken.) Smoking is also prohibited on the building premises and on the surrounding streets. Please use smoking areas or stores where smoking is permitted. If smoking or littering cigarette butts is observed on the premises, a penalty of ¥50,000 will be charged to cover special cleaning costs and compensation to neighbors. If you wish to smoke, please use a designated smoking area or a restaurant that allows smoking. *We are happy to provide information on nearby smoking-friendly establishments upon request. ■Other If something causes a strong odor in the room, or if it gets dirty, an additional cleaning and deodorizing fee of 50,000 yen will be charged. If any equipment is damaged or lost, you will be charged the actual cost. The cost may be reduced depending on the situation, so please contact the host immediately if anything happens. ■Upon Checkout Please dispose of garbage in the trash can and return items to their designated places. ■Damage or Loss of Items If any items within the facility are lost or damaged, you will be charged for the repair costs. The same applies to any damage to the facility, and you will be charged for repair costs according to the extent of the damage. ■Regarding Leftover Items Please take any large items that are no longer needed with you. For large leftover items such as suitcases exceeding 30 cm in length, a disposal fee of 10,000 yen per item will be charged. ■Luggage Storage Before Check-In and After Check-Out We cannot store luggage before check-in or after check-out. Please use the coin lockers at the station. ■Regarding Service Dogs, Guide Dogs, and Emotional Support Animals Etoile is not equipped to accommodate service dogs, guide dogs, or emotional support animals. Therefore, if you wish to stay with such animals, it is necessary to mutually confirm what preparations are needed before the reservation is confirmed. Please note that unannounced stays are not allowed. ◾️ Early Check-in Please contact us in advance if you wish to request this. • If it is within 2 hours, it may be arranged depending on coordination with the cleaning company. • If it is more than 2 hours, it may be arranged with the cleaning company and an additional special fee will apply. • 2 to 4 hours: ¥2,000 • 4 to 8 hours: ¥5,000 • More than 8 hours: One night’s stay fee ■Late Check-Out If you wish to check out late, please contact us in advance. If you do not contact us and exceed the check-out time, a waiting fee of 2,000 yen per half hour will be charged by the cleaning company. ・If it is until 12:00, we will accommodate it for a special handling fee of 2,000 yen after coordinating with the cleaning company. ◾️ Regarding Furniture Movement Please do not move any furniture. If the furniture has been moved at the time of check-out, a special restoration fee of 10,000 yen will be charged to return it to its original position. ■ Long-Term Reservation For stays longer than 28 days, we kindly ask you to switch your reservation to our long-term listing after booking and to sign a rental agreement for long-term stays. Details will be provided after the reservation is made. 　 ◾️About the Surroundings During your stay, you may hear construction noise, sounds from neighbors, or notice temporary smells. These are outside our control, so we cannot offer refunds or discounts for such reasons. Please understand this before you book. ◾️Other Notes If you notice any smells or dirt inside the room, please let us know while you are still here so we can check together. We cannot offer any refund or discount if you check out without discussing it first.
