Riverside Charm private room & Bath on 2nd floor

Our two Private rooms have their own bathrooms and their own ductless A/C and Heat units along with 4 windows to allow for proper ventilation between guest stays and are located ON SECOND FLOOR of our home. Sorry, no kitchen available, however, you fo have your own coffee machine, frig and microwave and we are located in a quiet, popular, historic neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants, shops and bars. Please coordinate check-in time with me prior to your arrival. The space This is a very large room on SECOND FLOOR of our home with a double bed and PRIVATE bathroom. There is a TV, with basic channels, sitting area and table with Wi-fi. We do not prepare food for guests, however, we do offer complimentary coffee, tea and instant oatmeal for your first morning to get you started until you can get to the market which is one mile away. You have your own frig, coffee machine/Kettle and microwave . There is a great breakfast place in walking distance called Cool Moose ( closed Mondays and Tuesdays) as well as, various other restaurants. We are located in a friendly, walkable neighborhood in the Historic Riverside/Avondale area of Jacksonville which is 3 miles from downtown where the Landing, MOCA ( Museum of Contemporary Art ), Sports Complex and Times Union Center of Performing Arts is located. We are walking distance to St. Vincent's Hospital, the St. John's River and the shops and restaurants of Park & King. We are also 1 mile from the trendy 5 Points area which has restaurants, shops and the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens. One mile in the other direction is the upscale shops and restaurants of Avondale. Just up the street from Avondale is the Murray Hill district with it's own quaint restaurants, Community Loaves and my Massage & Wellness Center. Our neighborhood has many parks dotted through out and is a great place to take a walk, run or ride bikes. We have two bikes that you are welcome to borrow complete with helmets, water bottle holder and bike lock. We do have cats , but they do not have access to the 2nd floor guest rooms and are outdoors most of the time - though you may see them coming and going. There is one off-street space on premise that is on a first come first serve basis. We do this so that no one gets blocked in. There is also plenty of street parking around the park across from our house. Guest access Your room, the porch out front and bicycles if you like. During your stay We live in the house, and you will see us coming and going, but we give our guests their privacy, as well. Other things to note No kitchen access. However, you do have your own frig, microwave and coffee machine and kettle. we do offer complimentary coffee , tea, breakfast bars and instant oatmeal for your first morning. There are several restaurants in walking distance and a Publix grocery store within a mile where you can buy food items. With this said, we are in walking distance to plenty of restaurants where you can find a variety of offerings. Also, please understand that there is no cleaning service for long term stays ( 7 days or longer) and since longvtetm guests are receiving a significant discount we expect guests to clean up after themselves. we do have a washer and dryer that you can use to do your own laundry and we will wash your used towels and sheets when you choose to switch them out and we always provide you with extras.
