The space An old traditional Japanese house, known as a kominka, exudes timeless elegance and simplicity, deeply connected to nature and cultural heritage. Inside, sliding paper doors (shoji) allow for flexible room arrangements and soft, diffused light. Tatami mats cover the floors, offering a comfortable, serene surface for sitting or sleeping. A central feature is the engawa—a narrow wooden veranda that runs along the outside, connecting the house to the small garden. The harmony between indoor and outdoor spaces reflects the Japanese philosophy of living in balance with nature.
