The space Little Blue offers the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway in a cozy, well-designed space that never feels cramped. Tucked away on a private road with minimal traffic and surrounded by trees, it’s a short walk—less than half a mile—down a nature trail to Cornucopia Beach, one of Lake Superior’s most beautiful sandy spots. Step inside this charming cottage to a bright, airy common area, enhanced by clean white walls, natural wood accents, and windows that frame views of the woods. The space features a comfortable sofa, a TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with a stovetop, oven, microwave, small refrigerator, ice maker, and essential gadgets, plus bar seating for three that doubles as prep space. And of course, there’s a coffeemaker! There are additional stools if you have a fourth guest. Glass doors lead to a lovely outdoor patio with seating and a beautiful pergola, providing shade and shelter for a relaxing outdoor experience. A gas grill is provided for those who can't go without trying to set their food on fire. And the "up-north" experience wouldn't be complete without a fire pit and some chairs. Firewood is now provided! The bedroom, bathed in soft natural light, features a comfy queen-size bed with floating nightstands and a corner wardrobe for storage. The bright, cheery bathroom, located just beyond the kitchen, includes a vanity and a step-in corner shower. From its peaceful wooded setting to its simple, modern design, Little Blue is all about calm and relaxation, both inside and out. Little Blue is the perfect stay for either a South Shore adventure or getaway! The nature trail is part of the Sawgrass community and only for its residents and guests (YOU). Not open/accessible for the general public. **Now equipped with a Level 2 EV charger.** charge rate of approx 8.7 kw/h. Charger is a non-tesla plug. We also have a 40ft extension cord to easily accommodate and charging port location. Please let us know prior to you stay if you are planning on charging your EV at Little Blue. There is no extra fee for plug-in hybrids. Due to most of our guests do not have EVs, we charge extra for the use of the charger for standard EVs instead of adding it to the nightly rate. The rate is $0.15 per kWh, and you will be charged accordingly when checking out. Thank you for your cooperation. By using the charger, you agree to these terms. Guest access Please enjoy the grassy area of the property. At this time we ask you to not venture into the woods (except to maybe grab some firewood). The firewood between the two larger trees is included in your stay. For the nature trail, you can follow that main road to the end. There will be a sign for the nature trail. Other things to note Little Blue only has a mini fridge and a countertop ice maker, there is no freezer. We mention this so you can plan accordingly. The mini fridge is fairly spacious for being "mini". You can easily pack 4-7 days worth of food in it. We spray for mosquitoes every month to make the outdoor space more enjoyable. We would still recommend bringing bug spray in case they happen to be bad. After all, Little Blue is in the middle of the woods and we can only control so much. The TV in the living room is set up with multiple streaming services. (Netflix, Hulu, Disney, Max, and Paramount) **WINTER RESERVATIONS** We try and make sure that the driveway and walkway are cleared of snow. Due to the timing a severity of snow falls/storms it may not always be possible. If it snows during your stay there is a shovel ok site for snow removal. If you wish to have it removed by our team there will be a $10 fee. The Sawgrass community and the driveway are typically cleared in the am and are plowed by a private company. We will try to make special accommodations for travel if a storm aligns durring check-in or check-out time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
