Our king size, four poster bed provides the ultimate space for you and your partner, we have spared no expense when it comes to your comfort. Cook for yourself in the well appointed kitchen or take a swift 15 minute drive to Port Macquarie to experience our food culture, with an abundance of restaurants and cafes to choose from. If you decide to wander from your cottage and explore the local area, you will be relieved to return to relax by the fireplace, or in air-conditioned comfort during summer, and soak in the large, freestanding bathtub with a glass of locally produced wine. Guest access You share this beautiful rural retreat with the kangaroos, kookaburras and wallabies and our resident farm animals, you are welcome to wander the property at your leisure or we do provide an up close and personal meet and greet with our friendly goats, chickens and geese! Edit The Byer and our other cottages are all standalone buildings, set over 9 acres and are all private from each other and our residence. Interaction between guests and hosts is not necessary if preferred, we are on site (most of the time) to assist with any issues or if you are wanting a farmstay experience.
