The charming Casa do Castelo is between the mountains and the Tagus River, nestled at the foot of the majestic Belver Castle and with a wonderful view of the centuries-old village and Tagus River. The tranquility and landscapes invite rest and contemplation, but in the surroundings there is much to do… We are in the center of the country, in Alto Alentejo but next to Ribatejo and Beira Baixa, this allows for several types of landscape and gastronomic experiences in a single visit. The space The house consists of 3 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom and two patios with a stunning view of the village and the Tagus River. It is ideal for family vacations, friends, and longer stays. It comfortably accommodates 5 adults and one child in an extra bed. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, washing machine and dishes, mixer and other utensils for your use. There is also an original wood-burning salamander, with an oven, where you can cook a meal unlike anything you've ever tasted. There is a comfortable living room with access to a picturesque balcony, with a sofa and a wood salamander where you can relax, enjoying the wonderful view over the village, after a day exploring the area. This villa also offers outdoor spaces, including two charming patios and a backyard adorned by two orange and olive trees, all complemented by a breathtaking panoramic view over the village and the Tagus River. There is an outdoor table and chairs for your use. The rooms are equipped with a double bed, with quality 100% cotton bedding, for maximum comfort, the bathroom is equipped with everything you need, including a hairdryer and towels and bedding are provided for your stay. Additional amenities include satellite Wi-Fi, air conditioning in all rooms, living room and dining room, for the comfort of all spaces. a workspace, in a quiet location and dedicated to home office, a television, games, books and toys for children as well as professional cleaning and disinfection before arrival. We provide, at no additional cost, a crib for children up to 4 years old. Guest access The house is exclusively for guests, who will have access to all spaces, in their entirety, regardless of the number of people who will occupy it. The house has two entrances. The main access, which leads to a small entrance hall, next to the dining room and a secondary access that allows direct access to the kitchen. In addition, we have the support of a collaborator/neighbor - Ilda - who is available to advise guests and clarify any doubts that may arise in her grocery store…Oh, and sell her fantastic vegetables and fruits, wonderful sausages and cheeses, bread and traditional cakes from this area. Due to its location on the slope of the castle, and the existence of stairs, both outside and inside, the house is not advisable for people with reduced mobility. Other things to note Once your booking is confirmed, a link with the steps for online check-in is sent. Our online check-in process requires guests to fill out their personal information and submit a government-issued ID before arriving at the property. Guests will receive their personal access code upon completion of online check-in. Smoking and holding events are not allowed. The property provides homemade products. This property has guidelines to help guests with proper waste separation, more information is provided on-site. This property features energy-saving lighting. There is public parking 100 meters from the house. There is a Catholic church 100 meters from the house, whose bell rings every hour. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, there is a fair use policy for utilities that will be applied with a limit of €80 included. For the first few days, we provide the following basic amenities: small containers of bath gel, shampoo and soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dish detergent and garbage bags. Extra keys: €20 (extra set when possible, loss of keys or door opening service). Extra cleaning: price of a cleaning fee. A full extra cleaning is offered for each stay of more than six days, as well as a change of bed linen. Towels replaced every 3 days.
