Thanks for rolling with it! THE PLACE- This is one half of a side-split duplex. You’ll share the driveway and backyard with the other side, but both porches on your half are private. We also share the driveways with the neighbor. Great design. Prime location. Great value per person. We stock the basics and you handle refills just like at a friends. It’s perfect for laid-back savvy travelers who appreciate thoughtful design, not resort-goers with resort expectations 😉 . Just need a room? We also host 2 cozy bedrooms with shared access to our home. Check the listing on my profile. Stay Comfortably: BEDROOMS- 3 ALL BEDROOMS are located upstairs along with the ONLY bathroom. Two bedrooms feature queen beds, while the third has a twin XL trundle bed, making it perfect for families or friends! They are all brand new “LULL” memory foam beds with cooling technology. They are medium-firm. One of the bedrooms includes a Pack n’ Play for our littlest guests! Additionally, the living room has a queen size pull out bed. BATHROOMS- 1 Enjoy vintage design with modern comforts, including a beautiful clawfoot tub overlooking the backyard and a towel warmer for added luxury. We provide basic toiletries and a blow dryer. KITCHEN- As pictured, we have table seating for 4. Bar seating for 2. Coffee bar is equipped with some basics. We have a pour over coffee maker, traditional coffee machine. We do have an assortment of grounds available. Feel free to move chairs around to accommodate the size of your group. Or spread out and make use of the intended casual atmosphere. LIVING /TV ROOM- The living and tv room both have seating for 5, or more with the use of the ottomans. Once again, feel free to move chairs around to accommodate the size of your group. We have a Roku TV for easy streaming, but you will need to sign in with your own information or use the free apps. The living room also has a queen sized pull out bed with bedding and pillows available in the hutch. LAUNDRY- Our laundry facilities, including the iron, are located in the unfinished basement. DISCOUNTS- We offer last-minute bookings, midweek specials, and discounts for long stays. ACCESSIBILITY- Just a heads-up: Our home has stairs, delicate accessories, and a few quirks that make it not the best match for guests with mobility concerns or energetic little ones. It’s a stylish space but not exactly toddler-proof or walker-friendly. No pets, please. Not even the “well behaved” kind. Thanks for respecting our house rules and using your best judgment when booking! Guest access You will have full access to the inside, except for the unfinished attic for safety reasons. The laundry is located in the unfinished basement. You will also have access to the front and back porch on your side, as well as the communal backyard. PARKING- There are 2 parking spots designated for this unit only. Please only park directly in front of the signs indicated for this listing. Free street parking is available in front of the house and in the surrounding neighborhood. Other things to note Please note that our home is older and both the heating and cooling systems have limitations. It is not advisable to raise the heat above 70°F in winter or lower the AC below 67°F in summer, as the systems cannot efficiently reach these extremes and doing so puts unnecessary strain on them. For your comfort, we provide plenty of blankets and recommend layering clothing in cooler months, and using the available fans or light clothing in warmer months My housemate and I occupy the other side of the duplex. We also have a small dog (a lab mix) who will remain leashed when outside. We Airbnb one of our rooms out as well. Please note that the backyard is currently a work in progress and not fully completed. The back patio is the only area that is fully finished and ready for use. But you are welcome to roam around. We are continuously working on improving the space and appreciate your understanding.
