Hosmer Pond Lake House

Our cute Lake House is encased by the beautiful hills and forests of The Camden Snow Bowl, a small and local ski resort. It is located on the waterfront of the beautiful Hosmer Pond, just short of a mile from The Camden Snow Bowl and a 5-10 minute drive from the towns of Rockport and Camden. This spot yields something for anyone, whether that is a visit to the Rockport Harbor, our favorite coffee shop or the town of Camden, it is also a great spot to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. The space The Hosmer Pond Lake House is encased by the beautiful hills and forests of The Camden Snow Bowl, a small and local ski resort. Our little lake house is Located on the waterfront of the beautiful Hosmer Pond, just short of a mile from The Camden Snow Bowl and 5-10 minute drive from the towns of Rockport and Camden. Its location offers something for anyone, whether that might be a visit to the Rockport Harbor, our favorite coffee shops and restaurants (see list below), the town of Camden, or the plethora of Museums in Rockland, it also is a great spot to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. The Snow Bowl offers an extensive and accessible trail system for both hiking and mountain biking in the summer and some great slopes for some fun turns in the winter (and depending on the amount of snow, some awesome nordic skiing!). The lake house is equipped with a couple of canoes and a paddle board that are readily accessible and provide for some epic fun right of its backyard. In the winter months, the pond is a great place for a quick round of pond hockey or even ice-fishing. Our newly-installed gas stove in the living room is a great way to warm up around after. This little gem is furnished with lots of love, with a focus on supporting the work of local-artists and businesses. You will find multiple refurbished pieces throughout the house, as well as the artwork of local artists, adding just the right amount of coziness and brightness to this beautiful space. Our little cabin hosts a total of five people. There are two bedrooms on the lower level and a loft that are all equipped with a queen-size bed and one bathroom that are located next to our cozy living room . The loft offers sleeping space as well as another hangout/tv area. Our cozy kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, and even a dishwasher (plates, mugs, pans, utensils included etc.!). The kitchen accesses the beautiful deck that overlooks the pond and provides easy access to the shoreline of Hosmer Pond. The deck is equipped with a grill and all of its utensils and a cozy set of chairs to enjoy a beautiful evening by the lake! The entrance leads into a small, bright and friendly room that is equipped with a dining table, right besides the kitchen. There is lots of space to hang coats and shoes, keeping this cute space clean and organized. There is a washer and dryer in the basement of the lake house, as well as a full-sized fridge/freezer unit. If needed, it offers an additional storage area that is accessible from the outside of the house. The cozy-feel of the Hosmer Pond Lake house and its convenient location is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and serenity of nature, without feeling out of touch with the busy town-life.
