Description
Spend some quiet time alone with nature, in this 120-year-old historical stone house, which we, as an architect family, restored faithfully to its original. You can take a stroll in the village among the olive trees in the morning, and then spend some quiet time under the stars on your poolside patio in the evening. Or, if you want, you can reach Milas in 15 minutes and see the historical Hungarian houses. You can shop at the local market or have a pleasant meal in the old ottoman bazaar. The space On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and a living area. The patio connects to the garden and the private pool. A separate indoor space for study and rest can be found by the pool, with completely glass facades overlooking the garden. The two twin rooms on the upper floor each have two single beds, which can be combined to turn into a double bed. This floor also has its own separate bathroom and kitchen. You can enjoy a view of nature from the balcony of the upper floor. Within the garden, there is access to a separate toilet and laundry room. You can use the outdoor shower next to the "Bali Pool" which is 1 mt. deep, to cool off at any time. There is private parking for 1 car. Guest access Our house is in the Aslanyaka village; 1 km to Milas-Ören main road, 24 km to Milas Airport, 7 km to Milas City Center, 5 km to the Medieval City of Beçin, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, 30 km to Güllük beach, 34 km to Ören beach, 42 km to Boğaziçi beach, 56 km to Bodrum City Center. Other things to note Despite being close to many of Turkey's most popular tourist attractions and holiday destinations, the region surrounding Mount Latmos (now Besparmak) has been kept relatively secret. Its boulder-covered landscape is dotted with traditional villages where residents still make their living harvesting honey, pine nuts, and olives, some in colorful traditional clothing. The area is also steeped in ancient history, from 8.000-year-old wall paintings and Hellenistic ruins to monasteries and frescoes left by the Byzantines.
