Book Your Stay Today The space The BBS building houses three studio apartments, with gated parking (ask us about parking availability!), and a laundry area (self laundry available at a charge). This spacious studio has a queen bed, with a pillow-top mattress, and a twin sofa-bed. The kitchen is well equipped with full fridge, electric cooktop, microwave oven, coffee maker, blender, kettle and cooking implements. Hot water, air conditioner, standing fan, high-speed internet, cable TV - all you need for a perfect holiday by the beach. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire studio. The common areas of the BBS building will be shared with the guests of the other two apartments. Other things to note Keeping a house clean here is no easy task, and so we provide cleaning service every four days. Additional cleaning may be arranged, at request, and at a charge. We provide linens and bath towels, as well as beach towels. We separate all waste from the apartments into three bins: recyclable, compost and other. Please note that guests are REQUIRED to segregate their waste. Electric power is very expensive in this area. So please only turn on the AC when you’re actually using it, and turn the AC unit and lights off before leaving the apartment. Please note that if your power usage during your stay exceeds the equivalent to $100/month (as measured by the meter at the corner of the road) you’ll be required to pay for it. If you have never been to Santa Teresa, you should keep it in mind that nature here is still very exuberant. That is one of the things we love the most about this place. But this also means there are a lot of creatures (some cute and some not) living here along with us, people. Some days you may see monkeys, some days iguanas, squirrels, pretty birds, raccoons or skunks. Some days there may be lots of ants, or beetles, or crabs, or spiders, or worms, or other crawly creatures… or the odd bat. And there are always geckos. It is part of living here and it changes with the seasons. The cleaner a house is kept, the less likely bugs are to come inside it, but some days they still do show up. As far as we know, there are no spiders or scorpions poisonous enough to kill an adult here. So even the ones that may look a bit scary are probably not as scary as they look. Geckos are completely harmless and eat other bugs, which makes them great companions to have in the house. People who are utterly terrified of bugs probably do not choose the jungle for the holidays, but we thought we'd point this out anyway.
