Basic grilling tools provided Guest access You will have access to the entire home with the exception of the owners closets (one inside and one outside) Other things to note - Must be at least 25 to rent property. Driver’s license will be required at time of booking. You can submit your drivers license through the pre-arrival form which will be sent immediately after booking. Please note - your reservation will be canceled if primary guest booking is under the age of 25. You will also receive a link immediately after booking to sign your rental agreement as required by the NC Vacation Rental Act. A guidebook with the door code will be sent the day prior to check-in. Door code will not work until both pre-arrival form and rental agreement are signed. - To ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible, please report any issues with the property right away and within the first 24 hours of check-in. Early notification lets us resolve things quickly for you. - Due to the high outdoor temperatures during summer months, HVAC is monitored remotely. Guests are able to set thermostat between 68 and 75 degrees. - Please note: Must climb stairs in order to access property. There is a freight elevator available for use. The freight elevator is not intended for passengers, please use for personal items such as luggage and groceries. *For your protection and the protection of our property, there are security cameras installed that operate 24/7. -Doorbell camera installed next to front door -Security camera with flood light leading up main stairs -Security camera with flood light in corner of carport to the right of storage closet PEST CONTROL For everyone's comfort and safety, we schedule professional monthly pest control treatments on the first Monday of every month between 10 AM and 1 PM. If that date falls on a holiday, the visit shifts to the following Monday. We kindly ask guests to allow pest control technicians brief access inside the property (usually just a few minutes) for these routine treatments. Refusal to provide access will result in a $45 fee. A Note on Palmetto Bugs (American Cockroaches / Water Bugs) Living right by the water in coastal North Carolina, we share our space with nature—including palmetto bugs (aka American cockroaches or water bugs). These big, flying outdoor insects are super common here and can occasionally make their way inside (especially if doors/windows are open). Our pest treatments help a lot, but they're impossible to eliminate 100% in this environment—they're just part of beach life! They do not indicate an infestation or poor housekeeping. While we maintain monthly treatments and respond quickly to reports, we do not offer refunds for isolated or occasional sightings of these common regional pests. However, if you notice multiple, please notify us immediately (ideally within 24 hours of the first sighting). We're happy to arrange an additional inspection and treatment during your stay at no extra cost to you.
