Other things to note GLENWOOD FAMILY HOME This house is more than a rental, it is also our family home that we enjoy opening up to others. Thank you for taking care of our home as if it were your own! Our house is in a residential neighborhood with the friendliest neighbors you'll ever meet! Please be mindful of quiet hours after 9 pm. Mobile has strict laws about parties in short term rentals, so if you’re looking to host a large gathering, this isn’t the place. Anyone caught hosting a party will be asked to vacate the premises without refund. We will however consider small quiet gatherings for birthdays, showers, etc. with prior approval. OLD HOME QUIRKS & CHARM Keep in mind that this is a 95 year old house, full of fun history, creaks, and quirks. The quirks of our place are what give it character, but are worth noting: - new AC (strong and powerful), runs a lot - AC in the hall, not the attic (some noise) - beautiful, original solid wood doors with slatted door frames (small spaces above bedroom and bathroom doors) - does not impact privacy at all - original hardwoods in a pier and beam house (some settling) - discoloration in the kitchen is from the old wood burning stove -original windows and locks - some are painted shut and some are not Note: yard maintenance will be scheduled regularly, which means you may see this team during your stay.
