The space About the Area Wabisabi is a private rental inn on the bank of the Susuki River, near Agata-no-Mori Park, in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture. It takes about 15-20 minutes on foot to Matsumoto Castle, Nawate Street, and Nakamachi Street, but during the tourist season, it is very congested, and there are few paid parking lots, so I recommend walking while taking a stroll. On the way, there are various ways to enjoy yourself, such as stopping by the Genkei well and drinking the spring water, or shopping and eating at the Aeon Mall. It is a 2-minute walk to Agata-no-Mori Park, and 5-7 minutes to Matsumoto City Museum, Ishii Miso, and Aeon Mall, making it very convenient. It is only 20 meters to the Susuki River, a first-class river that flows east to west in Matsumoto City. You can play in the river from early summer to fall. The stars are also easy to see at night, so we recommend going down to the river bank to watch the stars. About the house Built 56 years ago, this 105 ㎡ one-story Japanese house has been renovated into a tasteful modern space. In the Japanese Bisabi garden, we created a veranda where you can sit comfortably. Please relax and enjoy your time while chatting with everyone. In old houses, the water supply is a concern, but we have replaced the kitchen, toilet, bathroom, and hand-washing sink with new ones, and each of the Japanese-style bedrooms has its own concept. A characteristic of traditional Japanese old houses is that the doors are low. If you are tall, please be careful not to hit your head on the door. Also, because it is located in a cold area, we have various heaters such as air conditioners, gas stoves, and panel heaters, but the temperature in the hallways, toilets, shower rooms, etc. may feel lower than in the room. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please wear warm clothes. The road facing the parking lot on the premises is very busy, and it can be difficult to get in and out of the car. Please be careful. Security cameras are installed outside the entrance to check the number of people booked, to confirm identity, and for security. If we find that the number of guests exceeds the number of people booked, a penalty fee (10,000 yen per person) will be applied. We will refuse to allow anyone other than the person who made the reservation to use the facilities or enter the room. Bedding and amenities will be provided depending on the number of guests. The living room and bedroom are fully air-conditioned. Smoking is prohibited throughout the building, and shoes are strictly prohibited. If we find excessive dirt or smoking after check-out, we will charge you a house cleaning and deodorizing fee. If we find any vomit, you will be charged an outsourced work fee (22,000 yen) to a professional. Although insect repellent is applied regularly, insects may be present because there is a Japanese garden in the facility and a water area is nearby. Please refrain from staying if you don't like insects. Pets are not allowed. If you use it weekly or monthly, we will consult with you about cleaning it about once a week.
