Original farm from the colonial period, comfortable and fully restored. At the foot of Serra do Balaio, near preserved forests and a century-old coffee plantation. A historic site, it was once the residence of Princess Isabel and Count D'Eu. Insta: @fazenda_sagrada_familia The space The house is truly fantastic, having even been the subject of study in an academic dissertation on Brazilian colonial architecture. It was once the landing place of Princess Isabel in the 19th century, in addition to having been the setting of a TV commercial in the 1990s. The property has a total area of 100 hectares, or about 1 million square meters. A part of it is fully preserved native forest. We have a beautiful swimming pool and a barbecue grill. Smoking inside the house is strictly prohibited. Guest access The large house has 4 bedrooms (2 en-suites) and next door there are two cottages (2 en-suites). Next to the house is a very large old coffee plantation that can be used for small Social and Corporate events (*). Next to the house, there is also a very well-made tree house for children. (*) Upon prior authorization and signing of a contract. Other things to note We have Wi-Fi Internet. The road connecting the property to the urban area is not paved, although it is well maintained. Therefore, although it is passable for most of the year, passenger cars may have problems with slipping in cases of several consecutive days of heavy rains. Cellphone carriers do not work on the property. Small pets are allowed, but note that on the farm there are several animals that live freely with the employees and inhabitants of the region and therefore, for safety reasons, guests must keep their animals under permanent supervision.
